SC looked freaked out before the race and ran like it. He'll bounce back.

I cant remeber any Candy Ride's that got better as they got older, do real good young and flat line, which is not bad. I still like Lookin at Lucky:eek:

That is just the tip of it.

The fudging seems pretty obvious. What else are you referring to?

Parasitic? If that was a trip for a horse who capitalized on circumstance then I'd hate to see what would have to happen to a horse for you to think he encountered trouble.

He may have had traffic trouble, but the race still fell apart into his hands. Everyone in front of him was gasping for air in the stretch.

Im still not seeing where Super Saver actually ran, this race was pathetic. I hope he wins the TC though, the crop is so weak he actually has a chance with his connections, and running style.

He may win the Preakness (I hope he does), but there's no way in hell he's getting 12 furlongs.

He's out of an A.P. Indy mare...why not, Oey?

no, that they are alright to look at. but counting on them the next race out is a joke. especially with all the different tracks and surfaces.

Well, isn't a beyer in the high 90s or low 100s about what you expected going in? That's what these guys have been running all year.

The reason you can't remember any is because his oldest foals have just turned 4! And Misremembered has already done better at 4 than at 3.

His past performances take precedence over his breeding IMO. He hung badly in the AR Derby and got his last quarter yesterday in about :26.55.

In fairness to SS though, he really wasn't that far off a suicidal pace.

The pace Conveyance set over that surface was crazy. That was one of the better 40+ length loss performances I've seen in awhile.

This is why I said Noble's Promise ran well, and our resident genius handicapper disagreed.

Yeah, I like NP. He's a pretty gutty horse. Why the love for Jackson Bend and not NP is a bit of a mystery.

Which genius capper are you referring to? There are many to choose from.

I'd love to see Super Saver's splits if anybody already has them. I'm too lazy right now.

Thanks. I'm guessing it will be tough to win the Preakness with that same run.
