I'd have kept the PSA's real short and simple.

* On the meaning of life: 'Your lives don't matter - in the end .. we're all just food for worms'

* On religon: 'how you behave without false promises of everlasting paradise or threats of eternal damnation is the true test of character.'

* On AeWingnut: 'his next quality post will be his first'

While I generally have a nihilistic view of the how's and why's we are here, I believe it is possible for our lives to matter. To matter to other people in our own lives. Your approach of not caring about anyone beyond what they can do for you however, will pretty much prevent you from ever seeing things in another way from how you currently do.
