They could have 5 Krakens blocking for tard-o and he'd still throw 4 picks.

Bears 9-7 no way!

The bears 9-7 no way! Am I missing something don't the bears need a line and receivers for cutler. Instead they overpay peppers on a defense already looking old and getting bad. Then get a blocking tight end and add taylor. I thought forte was suppose to be a superstar in the making. I love all these bear fan talking playoffs! Cutler sucks he has that deer in the headlights look, and with that line he may break his record for interception from last year! My prediction deangelo gets fired along with lovie and martz takes over. Face it bear fans its gonna be awhile before your back in playoffs. Cutler will symbolize mediocre if that!:)

First..I am not a Bear's fan in any way. But, they did finish 7-9 LY with a couple of games that could have gone their way to 8-8. Martz will be an upgrade and having two feature backs will help and Peppers can't hurt the pass rush. Cutler may fear for his life again, and their secondary is a huge question mark, but if they could finish 7-9 this year with a train wreck of a season, I really think 8-8 or 9-7 is realistic. Not that I want that, but if you are objective, it's a real possibility.

They still need a number one receiver, among other things.

I guess I'm kind of happy for right now with the signings, but I think they ignored an awful lot of real problems.

I have modest to decent hopes for Aromashodu this year if he stays healthy. He's probably the closest thing we have to a true receiver right now, if his play at the end of the year when he was healthy was any indication, but having a guy that would be lucky to be a #2 on 3/4 of the NFL clubs as your go-to guy is not real promising.

I'm hoping if they utilize him the right way, it may open up the game a bit for big plays from guys like Knox and butterhands Hester...but that's probably a bit optimistic. Still a big fan of the other Devin's though -- think he'll have a solid, productive year.
