I was born in 71, Roger Moore was my first introduction to Bond. I thought he was very cool in the roll, he would get my vote. Having said that Daniel Craig is very good, and is breathing new life into a franchise. I think the person that is sorely missed is the late great Desmond Llewelyn who played the master of the gadgets "Q" in 17 Bond films, he was great! I don't believe anyone could come along and do as wonderfu of a job in that character as Desmond Llewelyn.

I'm with you on that one.

Man..loved those on ABC Sunday nights when I was a kid...oh the hormones when the Bond women were on:wf

....and this is exactly why.

For Your Eyes Only - favorite.

Julie Roberts - not the best bond girl, but the best bond eye-candy.

There was a Charlie's Angels episode (Shelly Hack 4th season I think), involving Timothy Dalton as a jewel thief. Farrah Fawcett showed up for that episode playing Dalton's girlfriend. As they set up the investigation, they described Dalton's character as a James Bond type.

Hmm!! Foreshadowing?

I'm not sure on this, but heard that Roger Moore was first choice before Connery, and Moore's contract for The Saint kept them from getting Moore in the 1st place.
