there are a lot worse people in this world to wish death upon rather than a guy who all he did was hurt himself time after time after time

And you know that his girlfriend wasn't trying to escape to avoid violence?

The kid just died an hour ago. Jeesh.

And you know that she was? You're just as full of **** as anyone assuming anything about this, and you have a handful of petty crimes as your justification for celebrating a 26-year-old's death. Congratulations.

MaTH716 12-17-2009 09:45 AM

It's sad that the guy died, but it's tough to feel sorry for him. He was blessed with talent and he constantly kept getting in trouble (and second chances to boot).

Just to be clear because you are really twisting this.

1. Not celebrating anything 2. Did not wish his death.

I await your apology

question: if tiger dies in his freak domestic disturbance, is it glorified like this or sad?

and if sad, why? b/c he has no priors?

Sad because he wasn't a dirt bag thug who obviously "Hadn't gotten his life together".

Wow this thread gained some steam fast. Only 9 more days till Aqueduct re-opens.

God help us until then!

All you've done is crack jokes since the story was released, and your first thoughts about his death were that the "world is safer" now that he's dead. If that's not celebrating, it's damn close. And I'm the one who needs to apologize.

So f.ucking over a dozen women without a condom isn't a dirt bag move?

Right.

Danzig 12-17-2009 09:56 AM

it's a shame that just when he seeme to have gotten himself on the right path that he died. it's always a shame when someone so young passes, especially when it's in a situation like this.

his past notwithstanding, he was only 26 and had been 'clean and sober' so to speak for two years.

some folks might try to remember if you can't say something nice, don't say anything. he was someone's friend, someone's son, cousin, etc. would you want one of his grieving family members to read what you wrote? probably not.

If a cop game by and took him in for this domestic disturbance, would you still feel like he had gotten his life under control?

As far as it being a shame, it is more of a shame fantini33 and Herkhorse didn't bring home the Tampa Bay P4 after bagging a 100 dollar horse in the first leg. I am not happy Chris Henry died I'm apathetic and astonished that there are those that glorify him.

If it doesn't matter if it was domestic violence or not...The guy got in the back of a moving vehicle(pick-up no less) and fell out. That's an assclown. He's 26, not 15.
