rocks could win today and then win two in colorado and then i just have the eagles.

But you guys have to understand, eventhough we got a WS last year.. I'm still a Philly fan and have grown to expect the worst.

Come on Phillies!!

Antitrust32 10-08-2009 03:58 PM

Erythropoietin for the Rocks.

SCUDSBROTHER 10-08-2009 04:10 PM

That could of gone out (if Dexter wasn't so tight.)

SCUDSBROTHER 10-08-2009 04:16 PM

Wow, do they have HK's false teeth in a jar? No underwear?

Just his baby blue suit.

Not sure what, or if, Chuckles is thinking about his playoff rotation. Some peculiar moves thus far.

Coming into the game today, I knew it was the time to bet against the Phils. Not sure what the line was, but im guessin it had to be up there for the sheer fact of Cook being 1-5 against the Phils, and Hamels having the hill. He just isnt the same pitcher as he was in the post-season last year. Inflated odds for sure. Then he goes on a yittle rant about pitching at 2:30 instead of 1 or 7. (ever here his voice? sounds like someone has his balls in a vice grip) He better get his stuff straightened away and take a page out of Lee's book. GO STRAIGHT at the hitters and make them swing the bat. This team can not afford to have him pitching like Colette throughout the post, the turkey is roasted if he does.

All the arrows were pointing to back the Rockies monetarily today. the only thing I was excited about today was having Torrealba behind the plate again. He can't throw people out for nothing, at least thats what it feels like. Singles turn into automatic doubles with him. Lee and HOward, although the latter has improved his base running, were able to move up on him. Don't you know, that he goes yard today though?

Big game tonight SCUDS.

Congrats on the sweep.

Will admit I chewed off every bit of fingernail I could find when Lidge came in.

You had enough energy at 2am to chew off your fingernails?

I almost chewed off my dogs fingernails I was so nervous about Lidge.

And honestly I couldnt fall asleep right after the game because of the nervous energy Lidge gives me.

BUT.. I enjoyed the 10pm starting time SO MUCH MORE than the 2:37PM starting times of last week.

You won't have Billingsley to help you this time. You know how we are. A few breaks don't go our way etc., and we'll stop hitting. You know how to beat us, but Billygirl ain't gunna be allowed to just give you 2 games going in.

true, and we have Cliff Lee instead of Jamie Moyer. But we also have "Keep the lights on" Lidge.

But we must get through the next game (or two) before these discussions can mean anything.

Go Phillies!

Cannon Shell 10-12-2009 06:43 PM

Lee is freakin tough

SCUDSBROTHER 10-12-2009 07:38 PM

Phillies and Yanks can't both win what they want (uplifting fact.)
