northern iowa to kick off the season as well, but that being said, it wouldn't be a complete shock if they're in the rose bowl

Maybe. They could also just as easily have 3 Big 10 losses too

Will the Trojans make your list after they whack ND in a couple weeks, Cannon?

No they lost to Washington. That wont soon be forgotten. When they lose to ND I will drop ND unless they beat them by 40 due to the weak competition formula that i use.

two good sec matchups this week

we will find out a lot about ole miss and lsu

ole miss will have a chance to erase the bad loss over usc - houston nutt as an underdog has always been a better play than when he was favorite , saban will have bama ready to go it s/b a good game inital thought ole miss + the points

Lsu and Florida - Lsu getting 9.5 points at home in a night game? hard to believe isn't it ? Is this line too high ? Florida is coming off a bye week , LSU was all out in the 2nd half against UGA - schedule not favorable to them here as they face a fresh gator team with Tebow getting 13 days to recover from the head injury , initial thought - lay the 9.5 with the gators

Coach Pants 10-05-2009 09:03 AM

Alabama will not lose to Ole Siss.

Miami is a top 5-7 team... Losing at Va Tech is nothing to be ashamed of. I know they tossed in a total clunker, but they rebounded well. They will be favorites in every game from now on and should run the table.

FL lost a spot by not playing?

Bye weeks are for sissies. Tennessee lost to Auburn diminishing Florida's one decent win and Miami winning over Oklahoma flatters Alabama's win over Va Tech.

tebow didn't practice again today. i'm not so sure he plays this wknd. we all know concussions can take quite some time to recover from. but i'd rather he was able to play.
at any rate, i hope i enjoy the tigers vs the gators this wknd. i think lsu started looking too far ahead at the half. they absolutely manhandled georgia in the first half, holding them to just one first down.

tebow will play. "they" say he's feeling fine.. no headache's.. have a feeling FL will play this one out til gametime so LSU has to prepare for two VERY different QB's.

don't forget Miami beat OU without their starting QB

every week in college fb brings suprises and

i just don't believe that this 'bama team will go undeafeated , they can still win a bcs title in jan , but i don't think they go unbeaten , better to get the loss out early than late ---we shall see
