HArness Horses have been doing this for a couple of years now especially when they time trial. Heck at the Red Mile in Lexington they were going in the Chamber the Same Morning they Were Time Trialing.

Does anyone know what the rule is in New York on shock-waving? In California, I believe it has to be at least 10 days before the race.

NW is 10 days, too. That's because some types of shockwave therapy seem to be able to induce analgesia to certain areas or types of injury.
