He's mad Obama prays? What doesn't he like, that Obama is religious?

Obama has always been open about being Christian since he's been in the public eye, it's not new news. So why anybody should be surprised he prays is puzzling to me.

You've misquoted me. My statement was, "My experience has been that the Obama supporters tolerate freedom of religion for other people far more readily than the "He's a Muslim!" hate crowd."

And nowhere did I say or imply that the "He's a Muslim!" hate crowd had anything at all to do with a political party.

I wouldnt doubt it if Obama isnt religious. Along with 50% or more of politicians.. including Repubs. The thing is.. if you let anyone believe you arent religious you have no hope of getting elected to any office.

Ok then I should have said it's "My experience that the Bush and for that matter Palin supporters, dogs, babies and horses tolerate freedom of religion far more than the "Death to America" Muslim crowd.

Prayer. I think it was the the "praying all the time" not the standard before you go to bed prayers. And I think he's more disgusted than mad. LOL

come on del... its been pretty obvious lately that the republican loudmouths (palin, rush, and basically all their fans) are not very tolerant of freedom of religion. Riot makes a good example using the "Obama is a secret muslim" crowd.

its because its political BullCrap. Obama will say ANYTHING as long as it makes his numbers at the polls look better.

I've never seen someone backtrack so much in my life. He's like Clinton (bill) but way more liberal.

"Unemployment will not go above 8% if we pass the stimulus"
"Oh... well... umm... Bush left me with the problem"

"equality for gays"
"oh...well.. umm.. equality for gays gotta wait"
"oh.. wait.. the gays are mad at me now.. well I'll get right on this"

"i'm against mccain's idea to tax employee benefits to fund health care"
"oh.. well.. maybe its a good idea, what do the polls suggest?"

he even backtracked on the gates racism thing.

its becoming way too predictable.

She takes a very small minority and they're somehow indicative of Rush fans (by the way I'm not one). It wasn't a good example IMO although everyone I know who supports the conservative platform believes Obama is Christian though most are from his hometown. The majority of them also feel he left his racist minister for nothing but political reasons.

of course. see post #28.

everything he does is for political reasons. its so obvious, and not different than any other elected official.

except Palin of course. She only does things for Jesus reasons.

I have no idea if they are a majority or minority (of what?) They certainly are vocally intolerant of Muslims. Last time I looked, freedom of religion is allowed in America.

Here is a link to a video of the original Obama interview prayer portion that Dell references. It's a few minutes long.

It is and it's a shame that the same doesn't exist in the vast majority of Muslim countries.

Some in those countries aren't just vocally intolerant but will cut your head off kind of intolerant.

Can you name those, "vast majority of Muslim countries" for us? Which countries do you think are particularly offensive in that regard?
