the racing days have already been cut. purses are being lowered, horsemen are leaving for the summer early, Ellis park probably won't open, Latonia will cut dates and maybe go under if they have to compete with slots at River downs. We had some good racing, but its down hill from here without some stimulus.The Bill has been defeated and David Williams' proposal of helping with Lottery money does little to help and lowers the funds given to college students, What a bonehead. |
