Too bad. The author isn't the part that mattered.

overall I agree with the 'wait and see' approach however unlike Kerry I saw violence and anger in the streets, not the peaceful protests he sees through rose colored glasses. Of course I'm capable of going into a Wendy's and ordering lunch unlike this author who struggled with the aproach and read menu aspect of the excersise. Perhaps someone could write a book 'Ordering Fast Food for Dummies' and he'll have a better experience on his next try.

and just because the GOP is expressing their opinion doesn't mean they're 'trying to screw things up' as you said. OB is handling that job all by his lonesome.

Maybe if Obama, Jimmy Carter and John Kerry close their eyes and chant kumbaya Iran will just go away.

So your approach would be...

 riiiiiiiiiight.

Its nice to hear chants of "Death to America" in the backgroud while the Supreme nutjob Muslim says the results of the election were correct and no voting fraud took place (yeah I'm sure that no fraud took place)

Next time Barry makes a speech I the crowd behind him chants "Death to Iran".. and see how that goes over!

The more I think about it the more I feel that Obama not really touching this issue is the right thing to do. Let them have their own revolution, we are so hated over there just giving an opinion could be seen as getting into their business... shoot they think CNN having coverage of all this mess is getting into their business. The/or some people of Iran seem to be accomplishing things on their own, eventhough the responce of the Iranian government has been absoluetly terrible, killing protestors and everything, we dont need to give them a reason (the protestors) to turn there passion on us because we're messing with their business. Good job Obama!

The Bush administration had to have been
notified of this. If not, this is not the way to do business.

you think for a second Obama has had any contact w/Bush and or administration? The letter was sent out a month ago. Now we will tear down our walls, defense satellites and go with the 'loathing of the US military policy' pontificated by the great Bubba Clinton. France may step up! LOL

dellinger63 06-23-2009 08:56 PM

or maybe go w/Jimmy Carter's theme and attack Israel to rid the world of the most oppressive country and violator of human rights, more than Rwanda though we still haven't seen Palestinians walking around with lit, gasoline soaked tires around their necks but Jimmy and Riot know.

Yes.

They had contact on many issues.
Bush apparently wanted to make the transition
as easy as possible. Imagine that.

If Obama sent the letter with without notifying the
Bush administration before he was elected... thats
a huge error imo.

The letter went out this May (a month and a half ago) he was President and had already tripled the deficit left by the evil Bush regime. Think the transition was complete. Transparency? wonder what Obama thinks that definition 'is'?
