No doubt..His race in the forego at Toga was as good as it gets going 6f.
The BC at Mon wasnt too shabby either, although I think the track favored closers going one turn...While being very speed biased going 2 turns.

I don't think it favored anyone, despite the quagmire. The best horse won every race.

I saw the Forego while at the Spa. What a performance! Shaun Bridgmohan picked up the mount when Prado was injured earlier in the day. Baffert's instructions were to "hold on." Baffert later indicated he brought ML east because he was such a large horse and the gates out west were smaller and a "tight fit." Interesting tidbits about a freakishly fast horse.

Just mentioned this on the picks thread, but on the topic of sprinters another unnoticed performance this weekend might have been Street Magician at PI or PID. Ran 102:24(new track record) impressive. Perhaps a horse that fits in the BC sprint this fall at SA.
