Everything that's written there about the International Racing Carnival is true.

I wonder if they have a race in honor of Brass Hat.

I wish success for all of those who race horses in Dubai and ship out and attempt to carry on their successes following those runs, Godolphin included.

The minute you think Sheikh Mohammed cares about winning purse money of races anywhere, you've misunderstood his intentions.

The point in my earlier post is this...Godolphin is spearheading the campaign to create a racing paradise. It isn't just about winning some races - sure, that matters (not the money, but the sport of it) and creating a mammoth breeding organization. There will be a day and time when Godolphin dramatically slows their auction purchasing. It's coming.

No. They choose to not name races after horses who finished second in their only start over the track.

So his 1.2 million went back into purses.
Thats cool.

Oh yes.
Wilko got it.

Fair enough...
Yes indeed.

How about a race called 'The SILVER CHARM". Purse of $2,000.000 restricted to privately purchased horses that didn't win the Derby.

Star Wars Evil Empire music
or the theme from Jaws.

Both work.

Half the people on this board love to hit-n-run Godolphin and I think you fundamentally misinterpret them. I can't help your interest in doing so.

Mock if (or them) if you will, but those who aren't participating are simply missing out.

Nice post. :)
