It takes me there. Just when I click to get the PP, it doesn't work.

Payson Dave 03-04-2009 05:00 PM

hmmmmm....:zz:

bris has done something to prevent cutting/copying a link to the pp's.... but I'm able to view them by selecting the given races at the individual trainer sites

TheSpyder 03-04-2009 05:04 PM

I guess the internet is broken..works for me.

SuffolkGirl 03-04-2009 05:08 PM

I am able to access them thru Doug's and Kieran's link.

SilverRP 03-04-2009 05:54 PM

This blows. I've tried them all, get the same thing. If anyone has any suggestions, please let me know......

Do you get the same "object not found" for the PPs on the trainers site or it just won't open up? If it won't open have you tried uninstalling adobe acrobat and then re-installing that? That is my only, feeble, suggestion.

Thanks. I've looked into the adobe issue, but it looks to be fine, as other things work just fine.

I can go to all the trainer's sites and all. Just when I click to get the PPs this comes up: The web address at the top is this: www.brisnet.com/notfound.html

The requested object does not exist on this server. The link you followed is either outdated, inaccurate, or the server has been instructed not to let you have it.

Does this have something to do with not being signed up with Brisnet? I've never been, but have been able to download the free PPs. Did that change?

SuffolkGirl 03-05-2009 07:58 AM

I don't think it has anything to do with being signed up with Brisnet. I am but am accessing the PPs from my office computer, different address than what I used to sign up with Brisnet.

One last suggestion, did you try right clicking on the PP link and then either opening it in a new window or saving it to your computer with a new name and then opening it?

enter through this site only http://www.horse-races.net/library/l...rformances.htm

use firefox with reasonably up-to-date adobe acrobat

try a couple different trainers if the first one doesn't work.

whobet had a smart little site going, but unfortunately he was asking for donations.

Donations aside, whobet actually increased the use of the bris ultimate PPs and improved on the concept in the horse-races.net site (which happens to have annoying ads as well as a disorganized layout).
Anytime you can get the customers to familiarize yourself with your product and also get the crowd who would normally buy the cheapest PPs to become used to the Ultimate PPs, it is really good for business.
The only one whos business would suffer was the horse-races.net site which would see a drop in advertising dollar.

Tried opening in other window, didn't work. Tried dragging to desktop, didn't work. Tried saving, said it couldn't download PP, so obviously didn't work. I'm out of options. Don't understand why everyone can download these but me, especially when I've never had a problem before. Thanks for the suggestions though.

Not sure what you mean by firefox. Is that the same as firewall? adobe is the most recent version.

firefox is a browser you can use to surf the internet as an alternative to internet explorer or netscape.

It may, or may not help viewing the PPs, and is good for viewing most most formats.

Do you have another computer to try or a friend localy you can use to try. This is baffleing since you mentioned you use to be able to download, right?

Yea, going to try another computer and see. I used the trainer sites for a couple of years. Then I got the link that put them all together when the 'who guy' posted it on here a while back. Have never had any issues, until now. It's got to be something with my computer, nothing else it could be..

psoulis1 03-06-2009 02:52 PM

I have the exact same problem. Worked fine last week.
