Well really--they did their best to try and lose that game....the stage was set...it was done perfectly.

But a putzed fg attempt keeps them from history.

Mortimer 11-17-2008 11:04 PM

They won...but this is still an awful team.

I'm sure they will all go ga-ga-----until next week when the we will hear the usual post game..."Well,we didn't play very well. And so....we have to get better."

The Browns are undefeated on Monday night this year. It is simply a scheduling flaw that has them playing on other days of the week that is messing up their season.

Mortimer 11-17-2008 11:37 PM

Yes. lol

The Bid 11-18-2008 07:33 AM

They play like a pickup team. The play calling is horrible, the team looks terrible.

I still think Crennel would be an unreal equipment manager

How bad are the Bills? The Browns did everything possible to let the Bills win and they are still wide right.

Morty, I am disappointed the Browns were held back from making history.

Smooth Operator 11-18-2008 07:56 AM

How lucky are the Stillers to be in the same division as the Clowns and Bengals.

Four automatic wins right there every year

Bidster---the Browns are so bad I swore they were the Bills.

The Rams are so bad they left LA.

I guess the Radahs did ,too.

Oh boy.

Thank goodness for the Retreaters.

lol

Morty,

Why did the Browns have such high expectations this year. We both knew they were losers from the minute the gates opened. Cleveland teams can never win, they arent supposed to win. There is a voodoo curse on the city, and the sports teams.

Smooth Operator 11-18-2008 09:43 AM

Which would be more entertaining -- Browns vs. Bengals ... or watching the grass grow on that Hollywood Park turf course??? lol

Well that's always there.

Also...with the upward leap of quality in the schedule and the same linebackers and thin db's.....I didn't expect a lot.I have to admit I never factored in Romeo's coaching disabilities. They are far worse than suspected.

Where did Wimberly learn how to tackle?

Did he ever learn how to tackle?

Well it certainly isn't watching horsey racing at Hollywood.

My vote goes to Retreaters vs. the team in LA. lol

The Bid 11-18-2008 09:49 AM

Oh, easily the football game

Whats more entertaining than Romeo's bad play calling. Braylon dropping 1 out of every 2 touches. Winslow coming up with a "staff infection." Anderson dressed up for halloween as an NFL starting QB. The only people Anderson had fooled....... Browns front office, and Romeo. An old hasbeen like Jamal Lewis carrying 20 times for 33 yards, and then of course you have the special teams. Thats just the Clowns!

Wimbley arm tackles. He would fit in well with Parma Sr Highschool football squad. He doesnt belong on an NFL field

Mortimer 11-18-2008 09:51 AM

Don't forget--Romeo isn't responsible in any way for special teams.

I forgot who brought up that fine point.

Mortimer 11-18-2008 09:53 AM

But perhaps the winnah would be observing BoothOperator collect quarters at the turnpike exit...in the night----when it's dark.

The Bid 11-18-2008 09:55 AM

There is no reason a coach would be responsible for the way his team plays special teams. In the Browns case, how they do not play special teams

Mortimer 11-18-2008 09:57 AM

Well I do have to credit him for the return teams great play---but it's just given back by the coverage teams.

Did I say "coverage" teams?

Beat me with Arletta's amethyst garter belt.

The Bid 11-18-2008 10:00 AM

Im anxiously awaiting the wheels falling off the Cavs. Could be any moment. Waiting for Mike Brown to screw things up
