I really believe that there will be alot of people crying foul on both sides, because their supporters didn't have an opportunity to vote.

Not to worry Security is on the job!!

Oh my God.

Doc, and it does pain me to say as much, but your initial post was boiled in corn.

But ,as per usual here on NerdyTrail, an even cornier post was bound to follow.

HandiSappy rescued you.

I tried to get out and vote today. went to my local polling place, said i wasn't properly registered. Hadn't voted since 1996, but sent in my registration when I renewed my license a couple months ago. OK, not processed in time, can I register today? NO- the judge isn't seeing anyone now, but you can submit the paperwork and get a card to vote in a couple months. F*CK YOU NEW YORK STATE!!!!

Somehow you getting silenced by the red tape of the system makes the stories of the disadvantaged who had their ballots stuffed all the more believable. Unreal Phil....anyway on the east coast this race is over welcome BO as your new elected leader of the world that ain't free.....

Did they allow you to cast a provisional ballot? I believe that they have to - it's a federal law. They can discard your vote at a latter date if you are not qualified - but they have to accept the provisional one.

Dude it's NY, voting there is a waste of time because the politicians are awful either way you go. It sucks knowing the guy you vote for is probably gonna wind up screwing you in the end.
