It was a bloodbath.
I saved 13 Longhorn fans from committing suicide. The others.... I will never be the same. |

if you keep doing that, they're going to stick that way. :)

Okay i'll stop. I have been having a ball with it though.
On topic: Texas was a victim of schedule and I truly have no dog in the fight as im not a fan of either team. After having to get up for Oklahoma, Missouri and OK st. in successive weeks they finally came out flat and woke up in a big hole. They came back gallantly and if not for a great play by the best receiver in the country, they win last night anyway. Hats off to Texas. Texas Tech gets obvious credit. This is the best Red Raider team I've ever seen. Having said that, they have to go to Norman in a few weeks and i cant imagine they are going to enjoy it. |

One thing that is nice about playing in tough games is you know what you got. And we have not got it. Our defense is just not that good. They are quick, good tacklers, but way too young in the secondary. I would not like to go into a BcS bowl game and play a team like Florida with the way our defense performs. |
Uh..there is no defense in the eeny weeny 12 . The most overrated conf. in the country.
Perhaps of all time. If only because they've all become pass happy.I thought the game was a complete bore...which is why I saw only a small portion. |

Texas Tech still has Oklahoma St. also. If Florida slaps an undefeated Alabama in SEC championship seems they might have a great shot... |
State Penn will annihilate anyone they face.
They play something called..."defense." |

Growing up in Amarillo, Texas Tech was our local school, at least our D1 local school, so I cannot be happier for TT and Lubbock in general. That was one of the best game I have seen in a long, long time. Still a Buckeye, but very happy for the Red Raiders... |

Texas admittedly played very poorly. Did not have their best WR. TT still barely pulls it out. I think this is the same old TTech team. They never really seem to put good teams away. They beat up on teams with limited Defensive talent by exhausting the 2ndary and D-line. Crabtree is the best receiver in the country. Thank God he most likely leaves for the NFL. It was a great win for Lubbock though. They finally smack down the Longhorns when it means something for them. I like Paterno so I would not mind seeing Penn St. They look to be good. But the conference is so bad. Mich St. is second and their QB and WR's miss multiple chances almost every week. So they keep grinding Ringer into the ground. The QB's are in the dark ages. Penn St. can actually run a balanced effective offense and have a QB. THe QB's in the Big 10 just sck. When was they last time a Big 10 QB went in the first round? I cant remember. Pryor will be very good most likely. But the stupid sacks he would take almost every game early on instead of getting rid of the ball... Shockingly bad. And the decisions on the option... horrible. The tree seed's offensive line has to be a dissappointment also. Their D has saved them in the Big 10. Made SoCal look like the Patriots though. |
Someone has a sourpuss on for the BigTen.
I do enjoy the meltdown ,though. Perhaps Ethel:p will stab him again. |

with this stuff? Good Christ. The QBs in the Big Ten suck, are in the dark ages, and they don't go in the first round? I don't pay any attention to the NFL, and I don't know who the starting QBs are, but 4 of the top 30 in the NFL in passing are from the Big Ten. The only conferences with more are the Pac 10 and SEC with 5 each. Know how many are from your beloved Big 12? 0!!!! Was that your daughter in the picture, Phil? Does she have a better sports opinion than you, Phil? |
