It's been a long time since I've been around cats, so it's hard to tell. Do your eyes get all swollen and itchy when you're around cats? My nose was running like a faucet. YUCK.

My throat is what triggers when I have an allergic reaction-- it itches, and then my inner ears itch so badly I want to jam a fork in them to scratch. If I touch my eyes after petting cats I sometimes get red and weepy, but mostly it's my darn throat and ears, and that's just from being in the same room with them. Thank goodness it's cats and not horses!

Life as a wild cat is nasty, brutish and short, so I think the little guy has a much better chance at a long life on someone's hearth, thanks to you. I think I read the average life span for a feral cat is around 2 years. I bet he gets adopted.

I think I just got through that horrible cold myself! Awful sore throat, but over in like two days? Hope you're on the other side of it now!

And I'm allergic to cats, too, which doesn't stop me from petting them and then I'm sorry. Nice of you to pick up the little tyke.

I always pet them too lol... I love animals so much. I used to be allergic to horses and dogs as well, but I've since outgrown that. I think I would outgrow cats too if I was around them 24/7.

they cut away some tissue that was inflamming muscles around his lower back, he said it was like five vertabreas from his rear end of something, I guess they just cut the pain out, per say

good news, glad to hear that he came thru ok and also that he is done with this surgery cause you could tell thru his words that he was not looking forward to it. now he can get on with the rest of his life.

Here's hoping for an uneventful, quick recovery. After all, somebody has to drive those new plates all over town! ;)

Well he would be glad to know English Channel was out on the rock hard turf at Saratoga this morning with Artie Schiller and Showing Up. All three put in nice works.

Whats up next for Artie Schiller? Maybe the Sword Dancer or is that too far?
