I just think he's retarded.

ArlJim78 09-07-2008 05:23 PM

smears and taking things out of context? hmmm

Obama claims to want an end to the old-style politics, and "stale tactics to scare the voters", yet he keeps running around saying that John McCain is out-of touch because he thinks the middle class is anyone making under 5 million. Thats a blatant distortion of a joke McCain made. Obama has been called out on it by The Washington Post but he is still using the lie in ads.

yeah, really sounds like the refreshing change we need.

pgardn 09-07-2008 05:26 PM

I dont care what he is personally.
But he has made it very clear his Christian faith
has been a very important part of his life and
a primary guiding force. I would not give a rat's
a ss if he had not been so clearly trying to prove
his strong Christian faith.

Frankly I dont believe either candidate has
a religious background as a primary guiding force.
So dont say it.

"We" want to hear they are guided by their
high-minded religious principles.

Coach Pants 09-07-2008 05:27 PM

Well at least we'll have 4 years of Butthead imitations. Uhhh huhuhuhuh.

GPK 09-07-2008 05:27 PM

it appears abcnews.com has edited that portion of the interview out, even though it is advertised as his "full interview"

I heard Olbermann of MSNBC had a major gaffe when he said he wanted to shake Obama's pud.

Now. Now.

You have to admit the guy is amusing.
But he has no business on any real "News"
broadcast.

He is a hell of a lot funnier than Rush Limbaugh.
Or Mr. Factor, who is actually funny in his seriousness.

He was amusing on ESPN. Do people take him serious politically?

He gets really worked up.

no, which is why he is a perfect choice to lead the MSNBC political team.

Some people take him seriously just like Limbaugh, O'Reilly, Al Franken...
They are called partisan knuckleheads. Some people take Fox New seriously.

Actually Fox News is good on Sun morning with Chris Wallace.
It ends there. Fair and Balanced, what a crock.

Cannon Shell 09-07-2008 05:52 PM

Obama being a Muslim is far down the reasons not to vote for him. Political parties aside, I still believe that there are too many racist people in this country that will go out of their way to vote against a black guy with a Muslim name for him to win by anything but a slim margin. The truth is if you dont live in one of the swing states your vote hardly matters anyway.

GPK 09-07-2008 06:00 PM

This guy has truly, truly lost it:eek:

Comparing Obama to MLK and Rosa Parks??:zz: :zz:

I should have written "lol" when I said "I guess Obama misspoke"

I'm a left winger, I would be more upset over Obama being a liar than he being a Muslim. Not an extreme Muslim like the crazies who want to die for the cause and go to the land of 107 virgins(or whatever that is)

If I were a Republican that was a bit paranoid, I would not be happy at all with Obama's "gaffe"

The Jeremiah Wright thing actually bothered me a bit, too.

I'm still with Obama, but I do trust that the crazy gambler and woman lover Johnny McCain has a good heart
