i think she wants in far more than she wants the dems in the white house.

I think her campaign this year eliminated ANY possibility of her EVER getting into the white house. The way she handled herself at the end was pathetic. Women have the chance of getting into the main office.. Hillary does not.

After the job that Bush has done, you would think that whoever the Dems put out there would run away with it. The fact that it is still a close race (and personally I think McCain is going to pull it off) shows me how bad/poor the Democratic candidates are. Al Gore would have won this in a landslide.

oh, i'm not saying i want her to win, or that i think she will...but i don't think she wants to wait eight years to give it another go.

al gore is just as pathetic now as he was years ago. i don't think any candidate will be winning any time soon in a landslide. we all seem very frustrated with our choices-i know i am.
i know mccain had an event planned, with romney and huckabee at his side. i don't know what i'll do vote-wise if he chooses the huckster as his running mate, as i can't stand the guy. i didn't like him as arkansas gov, and i sure wouldn't want him to be the potential #1 in the country.
another election in which everyone has to choose what their lesser of two evils will be.

it's funny in a sad way tho..a lot in congress ran on a 'vote for me to change things' platform, and now congress has an approval rating that's one third of bushes.

If you mean economically, I'd agree(somewhat) with your statement. However, this election is very important as far as who gets to be on the Supreme Court. That might be the most important thing a President gets to do. I don't think over 4k Americans would have gotten killed in Iraq (if a Democrat had been in office.) I think our dollar would be worth more than 55% (or whatever it is right now) the value of a Euro(this is a national embarassment.) I think gas prices would be going up as we approach the election(as oil companies lower prices as the election approaches /when a Rep. is in office, and raise them if a Dem. is in office.) You will see gas prices come down steadily as this election approaches( Even if the price of crude doesn't come down)

Ohhh jesustapdancingchrist. Your partisan mentality is a shining example of why this country is FUBAR.

Both parties are equally corrupt. There is no silver lining between the two.

Mortimer 08-27-2008 03:54 PM

I wish I could get Skids and Scads straight in my mind.

I thought Bush/Gore was bad.

The only thing worse than this would be Kucinich/Jed

The Founding Fathers were the most corrupt, least admirable of all the U.S. politicians.

The were mostly third generation monied salve owners and the pollitics were vicious. It's a miracle we're not still walking around wearing wigs and football pants.
