How the f*ck did I lose the photo with Early Response :zz:

What an unfortunate first half of the meet this has been with the weather... :(

Prado is absolutely burning up tickets today.

DogsUp 08-11-2008 03:58 PM

Well Point and Pmac, we are off to a good start. 2 for 2 with a 17-1 shot in the 1st leg.

ateamstupid 08-11-2008 04:08 PM

I think Winning Point is a total bet-against. If she wins, it'll be because speed isn't coming back on the slop.

Coach Pants 08-11-2008 04:14 PM

Even money is ridiculous on that horse.

$10 double 4/8,10
$3 double 5/8,10

DogsUp 08-11-2008 04:28 PM

well that stinks..good effort guys.

ateamstupid 08-11-2008 04:30 PM

I'm gonna go out on a long limb and say there'll be a carryover.

Gander 08-11-2008 04:32 PM

Tom Durkin cant remember the names of horses anymore. That was a horrible call. He corrected himself on the 1 and then did it again.

Good call on the favorite being a horrible bet.

Coach Pants 08-11-2008 04:32 PM

Did Durkin have his eye on a Goo Goo Cluster when they were near the finish?

Wow, the last 2 days were rough. Nice start with the 17-1, but a tough sequence. Playing the 2 in the last and calling it a week, Good Luck guys, will be back for the weekend!

philcski 08-11-2008 04:58 PM

Maybe I'm crazy but Uniform @ 10-1 is awfully attractive... great off-track pedigree and working well for her debut, and Casse is EXCELLENT with 2YO's.

Lisa Lewis with a win at Belmont AND Saratoga.

WTF is wrong with the home team?

Horse opened as the 3rd choice and the favorite in the place and show pool. Guess they knew she was live...

Lewis Horse in Nightcap

Was definitely alive.
Cost $90,000 at the 2 year old training sale at Barretts in March and worked out in a quick 10.1 under tack. Plus the Chapel Royals have been running really really nicely out of these sales. My favorite freshman sire as far as getting precocius horses. 7-1 was quite generous given the runners who had started hadn't really shown anything and the other firsters were not all that exciting. Why do you ever want to bet on a Kimmel horse as a favorite?
Sorry to redboard.....but i was at work and could not post this one...

Looks like we have a bunch of 2 year old races carded on Wednesday. Hopefully the weather will cooperate.
