If rebellion crushes this group, it will get tempting to see if he can continue to stretch out.

There are two interesting sheet horses. While slow, both Tall Texan and Morty have positives. Morty got back to his top, gets in light and has really taken to these synthetics. Tall Texan paired his top first time stretching out, an angle I am a huge fan of and another that gets in light. He could explode 2nd time stretchout....

If you like Surf Cat don't you have to include Global Hunter who should be astronomical odds?

I don't see the connection, what am I missing?

I have no idea who I am playing, just throwing some conversation out there.

SCUDSBROTHER 07-18-2008 12:18 AM

LOL..Headley said Solis was gunna keep the mount on Surf Cat. Didn't take long to change that.

Only question is the 2 turns.

First race in NA was against Surf Cat. Only beat length and a half.

Toss the met.

Last race was stuck wide in a sprint going ridiculous fractions and near the lead. Cut off down the stretch, shuffled back 5th came back to get 4th.

I'm expecting the early pace to be much slower than his previous two races on synthetic. Could hit the board at 20/1 or greater. Might win because this track is silly.

Great info there Coach, gonna have to inclue now regardless if I use Surf Cat or not. He would be a MUST INCLUDE if Avila's boy Berrio was aboard :) Note that Global Hunter is also entered in the Eddie Read.

About the worst thing Baze can do is pull back and be scared to set the early dynamics...

Lava Man does not like to see horses ahead of him. He can sit outside and behind horses, but he positively does not run his best when he can't see clear track ahead of him. If he is inside the other speed, he has to go to maintain his position; taking him back will not work.

Call me crazy, I say Racketeer runs well here 18-1 @ 4mtp.

there is more racing today but thats going to be a big figure

having defeated the now retired heatseeker earlier this year, and with the victory today, is well armed the fave for the bcc? he obviously handles the AWT, while questions remain about some of the other top horses.

of course there is still plenty of time ahead.

what does everyone think of the revamped del mar surface? i doubt you'll hear complaints this year after the pac classic.

CSC 07-20-2008 09:45 AM

The Eddie Read, I think Ferneley is an interesting horse to look at a price. He managed to beat Lord Admiral in a Gr. 3 race this spring on good ground at Leopardstown. Some may remember Lord Admiral from The Dubai Carnival this spring, he finished 3rd in the Dubai Duty Free Group 1 and in a race before beat Jay Peg who won the Duty Free. Ferneley looks like the question mark here, the investment here is can he run a beyer in the range of 100 in his 1st race off the plane over from Europe.

Not sure of the closers in here they look a little suspect to me for a gr.1 field, Lava Man isn't the same horse he once was. This race may be left to a front runner...Storm Military or the Ferneley.

Bobby Fischer 07-20-2008 10:58 AM

Whatsthescript or Monzante

letswastemoney 07-20-2008 01:46 PM

every time Lava Man runs, they ridiculously bet him down to even money for no reason.

King Glorious 07-20-2008 07:36 PM

I'll go with Lava Man with Storm Military and Ferneley in the next two spots.

ninetoone 07-20-2008 07:39 PM

I'll take Raffy on the 4 for the stakes double...Lethal Heat was a mortal lock in the last race, especially since I couldn't bet the race :(
