Bobby Frankel ran Empire Maker with something pretty close to this injury. Didn't work out too well for him in the derby. Any other race and Frankel would have scratched Empire Maker.

In all fairness to Casino Drive, his connections did not duck Big Brown today. That has totally been debunked as they showed coverage of him clearly favoring his hind back leg after he came back to the barn.

He couldnt bare any weight on the foot. You have to have the special juice to not scratch a horse in that situation

i'm glad they showed that video. he was clearly bothered by something.
they did the right thing.
