he tucked in off the heals of Greelys Galaxy going into the first turn and was on the rail until coming out after the QP.

Oh, I didn't mean any of that as a personal opinion. I really couldn't recall why Afleet Alex had a "bad" trip in the Derby and had a vague recollection that this was the excuse.

Basically, I used the intial post about Afleet Alex to use as a springboard to rant about other, more interesting Triple Crown years that don't involve Giacomo...
