She is so great.

Yaaaawn. Talk about your foregone conclusions. I hope they don't waste anymore of her efforts in female races. She needs to be in the Hollywood Gold Cup.

1. Call John Sherriffs and tell him you disapprove of how he's handling Zenyatta. Your suggestion on another board regarding Lukas is a joke. There's a few reasons why her connections have handled her this way and if you ever bothered to read any of the articles, you might get a clue. I doubt it, though. You know zero about horses and your posts continue to illuminate that fact. Lukas would have run this filly into the ground by now, but that means nothing to you. I'd have thought you'd like this filly. You're all about wins only, aren't you? Trash 'em when they lose.

2. Your classless remark also on another forum where you hope she misses the rest of the year if they don't run her against the boys removes all of my doubt that you are of the same cloth as Dutrow. No wonder you think he's cool.

3. Don't watch her races. There's quite a few of us that recognize what a special horse she is and understand the patience her connections have demonstrated at this point. Don't get that? See Item No. 1.

4. I'm glad you don't like her. Maybe she'll go undefeated.

A couple of good performances today, if only the fields were not so small and there were better betting opportunities.

I like Surf Cat a lot as a horse, and Tiago a bit as well, but I have to say, and I said it two weeks ago, that both should have run in the Met Mile. Either could have won.

they dont listen to me of course but I have been saying Tiago is a mile type horse and not a true distance horse.

I do like the idea of the whitney, that race tends to have alot of pace in it, something he wont get out west, and Tiago is better on dirt, no doubt about that.

They are crazy if they don't come for the Whitney....especially if Curlin doesn't go.

He would have had a huge shot in the Met. But you know I thought that before the race.

Tiago is a very nice horse, not sure a 1 turn mile is his best trip but I agree he would have made the Met Mile very interesting.

Obcourse if everything was good with Midnight Lute, he would have looked good in the Met Mile also. This one's a big ?

Heatseaker seems pretty good to me, he ran fast at santa anita, oaklawn and then today.

Haven't revisited it in the video archives, but on paper, his San Diego run at Del Mar might need to be reviewed. He came from just off the pace to make the lead into the stretch before wilting into 5th. I'd imagine this is where Frankel gave up on him as far as being a route horse, but in retrospect, now knowing some of the nuances between these synthetic surfaces, I wonder if this wasn't a "hidden" good race. I assume you followed the Del Mar meet somewhat closely, what's your opinion of that effort in hindsight (the point being the Pacific Classic is likely a main target for this horse this summer)?

Video does not show up for him that far back on Calreplays but what you describe was the death move at Del Mar last year, any sustained run that began on the turn ended up in defeat. If I owned him I would point to a dirt race back east instead of running at del mar, in fact thats my advice for most stake horses. I would not run Tiago there, or Zenyatta, heck anything I thought was a nice horse.
