I always assumed Giacomo was the worst. He was much better than some of these now that I think about it. Of course, why would I ever have thought about it before?
|
This list could be a mile long....
I'll start with Marylebone.. |
Cowtown Cat
|
Jazil
I forgot about him until now! |

I think it's Sutra, hands down. I seriously have never witnessed a worse race in person, ever. The field was awful and they ran WORSE than awful.
|
The reason I used "colt" in my topic was because I actually assumed everyone would go with Sutra if I just said horse. Yes, Sutra was awful.

God bless his soul, but what about A Huevo? He won the DeFrancis IIRC.

I could see him being on the list of most fragile Grade 1 winners ever - but he could flat out run. |
Add her to the list...

Is that Jilbab?
If so, I don't think she was all that bad. I'd have to see her PP's again though. |
Here is A Huevo's form ... note the monster layoff.
![]() Has there ever been another horse to win a Grade 1 race in career start #7, in November of their 7-year-old season? And keeping with the 7's - this guy ran 7th at Mountaineer two starts before his Grade 1 win. He either won by clear margins - or was trounced in all his races. |

Yeah, thats her... Other than a win in the CCA Oaks over immortals such as Tarnished Lady and Shop Til You Drop, she didnt do much... |
