Frankly, it's a tribute to the stable that they have been able to continue to get him to the races, all things considered, and that on any given day he may run extremely well. |

Better than going in a 6f race against quicker horses where he has little hope, or going in a ybred race for very little money. |
While we're talking about Zito, does anyone know what ever happened to He's Solid Gold, the Seeking The Gold half-brother to High Fly who looked good breaking his maiden this fall in his second lifetime start? I put him in my stable mail, and he has yet to have a published work since his maiden win.

I have to clarify that one usually has a Napoleon complex, not Napoleon syndrome. It's not the rhino virus, it's a state of mind.

I'd like to see this horse and Chatain in the Met Mile. I can dream... |
doesnt Commentator always come off the layoff and always run huge in a allowance optional or minor stakes type race?? i seem to remember him always running his best races with that scenario.

Something I found odd about Commentator when I looked at his pedigree - in search of grass breeding.....is that his mother Outsource was an unraced $14,000 yearling who was foaled in 1998. Commentator, her first foal, was foaled in March of 2001. Seems like Distorted Humor got his dam when she was a early 2-year-old. |
