I was not in the best of spirits at all when it happened. When she was coming off the track and started to limp my heart sank into my stomach. Yes I cried like the girl I am. The good news is she'll be back when I get back from Hotsprings. You'll get to see her at chucks farm when it gets up and running. So take good care of her!! (or else).

Well, when her momma is Hell On Heels, and she was named Rampallion, I guess a bit of small trouble along the way would not surprise :D

Sumwon will be heading to a farm in Shelbyville, KY until Chucks farm is ready to take her. She will be on stall rest there. Chuck is expecting for his farm to be ready to take her in mid-February.

Cherie, I think one of the main reasons we like you as much as we do is that you love Sumwon at least as much as the rest of us (and probably a whole lot more).

Yes, you're a total pro on horseback and you keep that stable running smoothly, but I'm glad you care so much for Sumwon. I hope you never lose that, never become emotionally detached from the horses you train.

I was looking forward to finally seeing Oaklawn with Sumwon racing. Maybe Kicking N Screamin will race there, giving me a reason to go this year. Take care and have a Merry Christmas.

Yes, that is the good news am trying to focus on also - those days will fly by and it will be spring, and you'll both be back at Churchill before you know it!

Best of luck to the entire Dee Tee team. Looking from the outside in...it is just awesome how accommodating Steve, Chuck and Cheri are to all the members. They definitely seem like they make your whole experience of ownership a fun and exciting time. Any update on SWLY's progress?

Chuck will add more on ChuckBlog, but she went to the farm in Shelbyville the other day without a hitch and is on stall rest for another 6 weeks.

There really won't be a lot to say until she moves to Chuck's new facility and starts taking treatments in the hyperbaric chamber.
