Even so that would be the sign of a sophisticcated burgler who would probably not bust into Taylors bedroom with guns blazing, therefore screwing up the heist. My inner detective says the guy was someone they knew, who had been there before and who had something owed to him or a grudge. Especially in light of a recent break in.

I agree that it was a person that probably knew him and had a grudge.

How many people would know that a member of the Washington Redskins would be at him home in Miami on Sunday night and not up in Washington treating his injury? How many nights a season does an out of town player get to sleep in his own bed? The guy knew Taylor was home and went after him. If it was a simple robbery, he would have waited until no one was in the house and quietly gone about his business without this mess.

and the break in from 8 days prior, the intruder left a knife on the bed. If that aint a sign someone was looking for him and that they would be back...I don't know what is.

Probably his girlfriends brother.

Danzig 11-27-2007 08:24 PM

sure is a lot of speculation and conspiracy theory in the air.

i'm waiting for the investigation to figure it all out.

Danzig 12-02-2007 12:11 PM

well, so much for all the theories. dammed shame he had to lose his life because some punks wanted someone else's money.

Still want to know how the knife and cut phonelines figure in. Maybe they thought/did cut the security system wires?

Danzig 12-02-2007 01:00 PM

if they thought no one was home, then it would be a safe bet they cut the lines to disarm any security system. one of the guys cut grass at that place, i believe another of the four had some kind of ties as well. so, they took what info they had and ran with it. just a shame for taylors family and his child.

I dont get why Taylor had to go a into a situation at his house with a machete. He was a dad. Dad's have people to take care of.

Take my stuff. I'm hiding. Im getting out. All indications say these kids did not know anyone was home.

Guns beat machete's.

I guess in a fight or flight situation people react diff. We dont know all the circumstances. but i personally would not go after a noise with a machete with my wife and child in the house. Too many people pack guns in this State.

Danzig 12-02-2007 02:01 PM

no one knows what they would do a in a situation. people talk about it, but until you're in it, you really don't know.

I wish he would have gone after them with a gun instead of the machete. Then maybe he'd still be with us. A damn shame. Not just a superior athlete, but a fine young man senselessly gunned down. I hope the guilty parties rot in hell.

Weren't there four people he would have had to take down? He might have taken one or two down tops before they got him. And then they might have freaked out at their dead friends being there and killed the wife and kid to try and buy time to clean everything up.
