I just joined the Derby Trail recently and this is my favorite Forum. Analyzing PPs and picking my runner is one of my favorite ways to spend time.

Thanks for Posting the 10th at CD, it does look very intriguing, a brief glance and it looks wide open. Here’s a couple more that look are set up to be great races that I’ll print and handicap tonight so I can play a Pick 3 tomorrow at Churchill Downs:

Here's tomorrow's 9th at CD for P4 players; I'll stick with the Pick 3 and hope the two turf races don't go off on the MT:

Hello,

#2 Council Member looks like a good value play. A stakes winner on the Turf in England, good form and lightly raced this year on the dirt with top jockeys in a couple graded stakes in NY; and I like the 11: 3-3-0 lifetime record on the Turf. I'll play him in an exacta with #7 Desert Code, a G3 winner on turf at Oak Tree out of E Dubai.

HP 11/25/07: 5th through 8th & 10th

Hi,

Here’s the the 5th through the 8th today at Hollywood Park. I’ll play a couple very challenging rolling Pick 3s. Threw in the 10th as I like Turf races and will play it too. Could not find the 9th.

Council Member & Afleet Alex

Any word on why Council Member scratched and when he may run again?

Also curious if you can give an update regarding Afleet Alex's duties as a Stallion. He's one of our favorites. I won over $500 on him in the Preakness. I bought the computer I am writing from with the $.

Thanks to all and especially My Miss Storm Cat for starting this forum.

my miss storm cat 11-28-2007 08:14 PM

Council Member is possible for the Vernon Underwood on Sunday (along with In Summation and Greg's Gold).

If i had known i wouldn't have run to HP last weekend at the last possible minute like a crazy lady to see him in person..... :D

Love Alex too (and good for you!!!) but anything and i mean anything having to do with pedigree, stallions, whatever? Let's just hope there's someone else around who can answer. :)

Thanks, sounds like the Underwood will set up to be a great contest. You did get to see some great races Sunday, it's always more fun at the Track.

Yeah it was a lot of fun and since i only bet at the track......

I actually have a story and i hope it's not seen as redboarding cause it's actually to tell what a great capper Arl Jim is.

So I'm there, we're on the phone, I had given him my pathetic hot tip of the day and asked what his was.

He tells me to save some $ for The Rye Man in the last race.

Freddy Fong doesn't win much but whenever I'm there i bet his horse in the final just incase. Sympathy bet. The one time i didn't he won and it paid HUGE, damnit!

I hardly ever bet across the board but i got my wagers in early so i could hang out and have fun, meet some people from another forum, etc.

Right before the last race i'm thinking oh yeah, he scratched so i'll just put this on The Rye Man even though I had tossed him and was already playing the race a few different ways.

The Rye Man shocks everyone and wins, pays $25, $12. and $10. :D

Thanks Jim!

12/2 Hp

Hello,

I was looking for the 8th and 9th at HP and all I could find was the Nomination PPs for the Underwood, included are the other PPs for today’s card at HP that I found along the way. It will be fun to watch the two studs duel it out after Bushwacker leads the way in under 22 & 45, perhaps with the extra weight they are carrying Bushwacker holds on to 2nd and Council Member gets up past them all at the wire?

12/5 HP Races 3 - 7

Hi,

Here's most of today's card at HP. Could not find the 8th. I'll play the $800 C/O contest and bet a $2.00 straight ticket at the OTB at lunch. I am not a
P6 player but w/a carry over I consider it like the lottery.
