I'm still undecided as to whether I should be very impressed by Nobiz's performance in the BC Mile or whether it was simply a reflection on how terrible the Mile Division was this year.

We're in trouble, Jim. I just checked and there are only 2 threads in the first 3 pages of "The Paddock" that have crossed the 100-post mark. (Insert "get a life, dude!" here) One of the 100-post threads is the durable "Retirements". The other thread is titled "Street Sense", and as nice a horse as Nobiz is, I don't think he can beat Street Sense.

Always liked this horse and hope he runs for a couple more years. He's a big glutz of a horse and feel if he's allowed to keep running, he'll grow into a monster.

For those not impressed, sure he's not the very best, but has proven alot as a three year old. Our mind sets are so geared to NOW, NOW, NOW..oh wait that's another horse. What I mean is NObiz is still young. I think he gets way better with age.

As for 100 posts...where's Morty when you need him?

As opposed to last year?

I tend to agree with you. But he's OK.

Last year was pretty terrible too but I think Aragorn was probably a better horse than any in the Mile this year, not that that is saying much.

i agree. Aragorn hated that give in the turf course from all the rain the prior few days to last year's BC-he did it all on heart.
