thanks for the offer but I'm leaving for Oz though on Thursday.. You'll have a blast I'm sure. You'll have to come back here and tell everyone how it was. Just like many people campaigning for the Breeders Cup to move outside of North America, I should start a campaign to get a Derby Trail get-together outside of NA..

Best of luck "down under". Going racing at all?

first thing my uncle said to me the other day is that we'll be racing in Perth on Saturday. im not too sure which track is on, Belmont or Ascot. I'll be over to Sydney as well, so Randwick or wherever is on, I'll go. Furthermore, Im heading home via Singapore so maybe, just maybe I might get some racing there too..

I lived in WA for almost a year. Currently, Belmont is on. Didn't get there, but did make it to Ascot (gorgeous facility).

In NSW, you can't miss with the metro racecourses. I made it to all but Rosehill and I hear it's the nicest. Could've, but decide on a picnic meet (Crookwell) about two hours away. Love the picnics, I still find grassroots racing very enjoyable.

All the best. Have a great trip!

Mightnt be much Aussie Racing for me now. All racing cancelled for the next few days at least, it could get even worse. Its headline news over here and they are saying that it could postpone the Melbourne Cup and Spring Carnival if it doesnt get any better!!
