There's a nice stallion over in the UK that is very similarly bred to Candy Stripes (Groom Dancer.) He seems to be doing well over there.

Also, to judge how well Invasor will do as a stallion, keep an eye peeled for Leroidesanimaux. He's standing at Stonewall.

There seems to be quite a few decent stallions (Orientate included) that will help keep the Red God line going.

I forgot about Orientate ... his speed should serve him well as a stallion.

Are the Nashua and Never Bend branches completely gone now?

At the Maronas (there is a tilde over the n) track in Uruguay, these are all run on dirt.

So Ann, is the TC being mentioned run in three different countries or is it just the Uruguayan TC?

Bold Brooklynite 07-05-2006 03:17 PM

ñ = tilde over the n.

I am trying to figure out the editing part of this forum so bear with me. The first attempt ended up being a new post.

There are a few left...

There seems to be more of that line available in Europe.

Never Bend sired Mill Reef, sire of Shirley Heights, sire of Darshaan, sire of Mark of Esteem, sire of Sir Percy, recent winner of the Derby S. Never Bend is alive and well across the pond.

Nashua sired Good Manners, who had several important sire sons in Argentina; the recently deceased Paseana was sired by Ahmad, a son of Good Manners. Another son was leading Chilean sire Mocito Guapo, who has a couple of sons at stud in California - Malek and Memo, whose daughter Memorette won the Vanity last weekend.

Invasor's Triple Crown was the Uruguayan series for his age group.

I was just pointing out that the races of the Argentine Triple Crown have the same names as the Uruguayan races (the Argentines were the first major racing country in Spanish-speaking South America), and the triples in Peru, Colombia, and a few others include races with the same names.

LMFAO. Blocky comes back. Offers two threads. Some disagree. He refuses to listen and continues to make a fool of himself. Deletes everything he said (why?). He takes his ball and runs back to ESPN. Repeat in 6 days, 11 hours, 12 minutes.
