The breaks first wins hasn't transferred to much to routes. Cable Boy is very fast too. This SHOULD set up well for the class, but locals have made some impact in recent years, not winning but getting a piece. Stormello could have his way on the front if Hard Spun gets a ride like he got from Gomez!

Poor thing. Stormello colics, out of Haskell By MIKE FARRELL OCEANPORT, N.J. - Stormello has been scratched from Sunday's $1 million Haskell Invitational after developing colic. The winner of the Grade 1 Hollywood Futurity last December arrived at Monmouth Park from California late Friday afternoon and showed signs of distress later that evening. He was vanned to the Midlantic Equine Clinic in Ringoes, N.J., for treatment. Bill Currin, the colt's breeder-owner-trainer, left a phone message for Monmouth racing secretary Mike Dempsey Saturday morning to report the horse was over the worst of the colic. He said Stormello would likely remain at the clinic at least a week before shipping back to California. The defection of Stormello reduced the Haskell field to seven. |
