Sorry about that.

That's okay..... glad we got it straightened out.

You're very sweet. Too bad it's impossible to make an anagram out of your name. :D

I'll go with Afrashad.... he's in the 8th tomorrow at Monmouth. The favorite this time around and he should be..... nice story behind him.

He won his first at Lingfield (Dettori up) in July of 2004 and was (injured and) off till a short time ago (June, I believe... no PP's right here... sorry).

From his first, just because.....

Very nice.....

Haven't watched the replay yet but I was waiting to see this one too and happy to hear he won and looked good. :)

His race was awesome today. He bobbled at the start, then he was steadied, then he split horse and then won by a couple of lenghts. He was all over the freaking track and boy did he run green. Get this horse straightened out and he is going to be AWESOME.

I still think afrashad was the most impressive the horse is goin gto be a factor in the sprint. Put the mig back on and watch him win 2 or 3 more at saratoga.

IMO Afrashad wasn't even the most impressive sprinter at Monmouth this weekend. Watch the replays back to back of Afrashad and Henny Hughes.
You don't often see the kind of rapid stride turnover that HH displayed.
He switched leads in the blink of an eye.

Dude the question was about today and not the whole weekend.
I vote for Afrashad.

Afrashad will run henny hughes off his feet if they meet at toga. The horse is a future freak who hasnt had anything to run with yet. Watch what he will do if they put something with him that can run with him to the 1.4 pole.

Good one! Shall I start a new thread, who was the most impressive for the whole weekend? The fourth is in the books now.

For only the fourth I vote for E Z Warrior.

Not a chance, I don't care where they meet, toga or otherwise.

Agreed. A young horse making his second start in 3 1/2 weeks after his maiden win, runs a winning from off the pace going away was rather impressive. The horse that ran second made a very good 3/8 move and never challanged the winner.

TheSpyder 07-05-2006 08:41 AM

I think EuroBounce was right. Man that horse just killed a bunch of up and coming big dollar stars...nice pick, a bit chalky, but an easy, impressive winner.
