You guys were chatting about the bees right?

You guys know what I do for a living...well some of you. Anyway, for years we've been putting out Gatorade for all of our summer sports campers at each sports venue on campus. Each summer since I've been there (26 years) we've always had a problem keeping the damn bees away from the Gatorade coolers and cups because of the sugar in the sports drink. I mean we used to have hundreds on the tables and in the garbage cans where the kids would toss the used cups.

This year, nada, none, zero bees have made an appearance at any sports camps. My staff was just discussing this week on how no more bee problem, no kids getting stung, no more epinephrine pens, etc. It's really scary that there has been not one bee sighting so far this summer at any of our 10-12 Gatorade stations around campus. This bee stuff is for real in the northeast.

I am sure that the milk thing will be just like the conditioning we get on gasoline prices. They will drop the price down to $4.50 or so, and we will all say "Wow, that's a great price"....

1) who's they? the milk cartel? are they responsible for the bee shortage? i'm having a hard time keeping track of the conspiracies.

2) i have a friend with 2 early teen sons. should i consider this the same as driving a hummer? do i need to make him feel guilty for the shortage?

3) if i have a carton of vintage december 2006 knudsen 2% should i put it on ebay? i'm not saying i do. but i'm not saying i don't.

4) this has nothing to do with #3 but what is cottage cheese selling for these day?

These guys are probably the conspirators responsible for the increased prices in milk. I don't have a clue about the bee thing, though.

If you want to sell your milk on Ebay, go ahead.

And, I have never been a fan of cottage cheese, so I don't have a clue about that, either...

I think corn problem is the reason why Dairy is rising so quickly! Cottage cheese is 2.79 for 16oz in SoCal! We need more bees!
