Red Auerbach must be rolling around in his grave as bad as personel men his former players have become

McHale and Ainge are brutal, Larry is just bad.

Seems like in many cases, great players don't make great coaches, general managers etc.

The classic example ....................................ISIAH!!!

Isiah should just be happy in retirement. He was a great basketball player, hes one if not the worst front office men in the history of the NBA, infact probably the worst.

Certainly near the top...what was the guy's name who picked Sam Bowie instead of MJ?

If he mangled his own personal finances as bad as he did the CBA or the salary cap he is a long ways from retirement.

Bill Russell was absolutely awful also as a coach.

The Lakers just need to wait. They would not win the West with KG, no way, no how. They would have to have a very good PG to go along with KG to get anywhere.

I guess Riley has been the most successful player/coach. I wont count Phil because imo he was not a good player. Riley was.

Laimbeer has made a heck of a good woman's coach as has Michael Cooper.

Fisher is a backup. As a starter he would need Shaq back. Fisher is very wise and very slow.

The Spurs are not the only problem in the West.
Phoenix, Dallas, Utah, Houston, all are finals material imo.

Dallas, please, no heart at all. Utah, maybe, but they need help. Houston, stop it. Phoenix yeah I can see that.

He was with Shaq as I stated. He is older and much slower. As a starting PG it aint gonna happen.

Dallas has the deepest most talented team in the NBA. If Yao and McGrady get clicking and they keep playing that tough D... absolutely Houston. Utah may have the best PG in the NBA along with the most mobile center in Boozer.

Phoenix... if everyone on that team had the composure of Nash they would be a heavy favorite. Unfortunately they take on the attitude of their coach.

Nash just got help...Grant Hill will help them a lot!

I love Grant Hill, but he is really hard to count on for a whole season. He might help in the locker room.

I hope the Lakers don't trade for Garnett. That guy has definitely not been worth the money. I don't care if he has high school players on his team, he's garbage as a leader.
