He sucks. He's capable of 2-3 good weeks and then he reverts back to being same old sucky Kent Desormeaux. Best believe he'll be stinking it up at 'Toga.

Somehow I either need to come up with more players or just punt the whole idea but here's the minimum reasonable investment. (b selections included)

Race 3 6 (8b)
Race 4 1,2,4,6,7
Race 5 3 (6b,7b) and I still want to include the 4
Race 6 4,6,7
Race 7 1,2,6,7
Race 8 2,3,4,13,14

The ticket is probably here but nothing seems to jump out at me as obvious even if I single the 3rd and the 5th...

Does anyone like Cool Hand Lucca as a single?

letswastemoney 07-02-2007 04:07 AM

Ohh interesting breeding on Wooden Ticket in the 5th. His dam is Exotic Wood, who finished 4th in the BC Sprint one year.

Apparently both the #4 KICKIN CAPER and #5 RYDELL are going to complicate things in the nightcap as recipients of the ultimate equipment change this afternoon.......P6 players beware the newly focused animals!!!

For a mere $790,272 you can buy all six races..for a pool of probably $6 MM
that could be 7.5/1 odds..that is unless someone hits with an odometer number and a home phone number..then it could get dicey.

If I just had 395,000 friends I'd take a stab at it.

Good luck!

Yesterday if you had 2.6 million you could have had the whole pool and been positive 1.3 million :) We were talking about it at the OTB, it was quite hilarious.

My Pick 6 Ticket

(updated because the #2 horse scratched in race 7)

I realize that I swore I was done playing horses until Travers Day or perhaps if/when I visit Saratoga in person for the first time.....but.....

I have decided to play a small Pick 6 ticket at Hollywood today. My two $1,000+ Pick 6s that I posted here this spring both hit 4 of 6, so maybe a smaller bankroll will be my good luck charm.

8
1
1,5
4,7
1,3,4,5,6,7
3,5,11,13,14

($240)

Good luck to everyone.

Final ticket - As long as there's no further changes...

A B C

Leg 1) 6,8 / 4 / 2,7 /
Leg 2) 7 / 1,4,6 / 2 /
Leg 3) 3,6 / 2 / 1 /
Leg 4) 7 / 8 / 2,4 /
Leg 5) 6/ 4,7 / 1,3 /
Leg 6) 3,14 / 7,11 / 5 /

Edit - added the 6 as a "B" in the 2nd leg

All "A",s or a combo of 1 or 2 "B"'s and "A"'s or 1 "C" and the rest "A"'s (I'll spare Steve the bandwith and not post the ticket entry. lol..)

Thunder Gulch 07-02-2007 11:01 AM

Pick 6- still working

R3 48
R4 167
R5 236
R6 47
R7 267
R8 35 13 14

Total $864

Still considering singles on either or both R6 #7 and R7 #6, which allows me deeper positions on the 8th for sure, and possibly on the 5th or 7th....Five hours to post

Thunder Gulch 07-02-2007 11:02 AM
