asmussen gets clients because some people want to WIN, regardless of how. they aren't in for the good of the game or the horses, a desire to have a blast.
just WIN.

So do you think the vet should have lost his license as well because of what Asmussen said?

Well I did read it.

Here's how I look at it....it's simple.

Where there's lots of money...there's lots of cheating.

I mean it jest don't git much simpler 'in 'at.

A very strange piece.. a number of inaccuracies, misconceptions reported as fact and gross omissions.

While sadly, given the way the world works, you are 100% accurate- do you think that's acceptable though?

i was referencing what you said about doctors messing up.

BUT, yes, the vet should be investigated. asmussen said he asked for a couple illegal drugs, and got the one he wasn't looking for...well, according to him.

but far be it from me to call him a liar, i mean i'm sure he is pure as the driven snow in every one of those almost two dozen positives.

'i'm just a victim of coicumstance....'

i don't, fwiw.

i've always wondered how someone can get satisfaction from winning when the field he played on was NOT level.

I wouldn't say it is a 100% accuarate, but not a gross over generalization either. Not a very profound statement as well.

The problem, in my opinion, is that these cheaters, in this game, do it in front of everyones face. They get caught, slapped on the wrist, then go out and win another race and flaunt their winnings and over priced horses.

When these types finally get a punishment that fits the crime, then we can accept it. However, days and a small monetary amount do not fit the crime(s). When being escorted off the track in handcuffs, and having licenses revoked becomes the norm for more then one infraction, then it may become more acceptable in this game. If not acceptable, at least the punishment might fit the crime.

How many times could a pharmacist be convicted for selling illeagal prescription drugs without having their license revoked? 22 times?
