Anyway, the last:

Heron Bay
Filios
Walking Talking

It turned into a two-horse war down the straight, with Filios on the outside clearly getting the upper hand before Heron Bay rallied superbly on the inside and won by about a neck at the line, with a couple of lengths back to Walking Talking in third just ahead of Eradicate.

An exciting end to yet another great day of racing. :)

A thrilling finish. There was a head between first and second, a neck back to third and a head to fourth. So there were really four horses in a line at the finish.

Kid Mambo led all the way, was tackled by Zaham and Desert Dew at the 1 furlong mark but fought back strongly before just conceding to those two runners and Al Shemali, who absolutely flew the last furlong down the outside.
Oh damn i really wanted Al Shemali!

Not a brilliant day for me today. I did back Spirit Of Sharjah each way and i did back Zaham, who is one of my favourite horses at the moment and keeps improving.


MMSC...... do you remember a certain someone talking about Silkwood back in the winter??? :p
