Also, if I plan on trying it, I am going to let all in on the excitement, probably tell people before I play and keep track on one thread.....What the hell, might as well make success or failure public :)

Not playing BUT

here is my thoughts

4: 2,3
5: 1,9,11
6: 1,4
7: 2
8: 4,8
9: 1,4,7,9

2x3x2x1x2x4 = $192

Andy....not sure we will see 12-1 again anytime soon.

A case of too far back, too early? Clearly was widest of them all at the top of the stretch.

Getting steadied out at the start certainly didn't help things. Couple that with the absolute dream trip the winner had and you get my usual second place at a huge price.

It's frustrating.

yeah...just watched the replay a few more times and the winner could not have had it any easier.

This Garcia kid is growing on me very quickly. I like the efforts I am seeing from him. Doesn't always make the correct decisions (but what jockey does?), but again, I have always been able to say I appreciate the effort he gives.

Garcia is growing on you?

Like mold I assume.

Garcia has blown more rides on the the turf this meeting than any jock not named Samyn.

I liked this horse as well. He made a wide bid on the turn and finished decently. Figured to improve off the layoff. But I wondered how he was going to get the distance. Used him with the 9, who I figured could get the distance.

He may've been wider than the winner but after playing pinball with Rice's horse entering the stretch, I wouldn't exactly say that the winner couldn't have had it easier. Ask Rice's horse, who had the jump on the 5 and quit real quick after the incident.
