Correct Pgardn!
Humans are much more like racoons than woodchucks (though I've known a few that were).
When all doubts are met and addressed, I say, "Eat like a grizzly!"
Wash it all down with a few brewskies, and take a long, long nap.
When ya wake up, look both ways before crossing any road. Those 18 wheelers are dangerous!

Iceberg lettuce? Yeesh. No nutritional value and no taste to boot. I call it "crunchy water."

I was a strict vegetarian for several years, but for environmental, not moral, reasons. I like meat occasionally (it is tasty, after all), if it's humanely raised (factory farms are unbelievably cruel and as far as I'm concerned, if I'm spending money on factory farm meat, I'm endorsing animal cruelty. That's just me, though. They're also environmental disasters, while small farms are valuable habitat for lots of animals, including many threatened species- support your small family farms!). I'm glad for the time I spent as a strict vegetarian, though, because it kept me thin and kept me healthy and I learned to love veggies.

I tell ya, though, I take my hat off to vegans. That's serious dietary discipline. I think if I had to give up cheese and milk the sunshine would go out of my life.

Thats exactly what it is. Does not even have a lot of fiber, thus my futile attempt at a bad joke. In some cases the nasty E.Coli get into it, and that creates a great time with the big white phone in the bathroom.

I was a vegetarian once....I lasted about three and a half weeks.....eventually all the veggy patty subs from Subway started turning my poop all kind of different colors...and that was it for me.

Blech; those veggie patties from Subway taste like a*s. I think they're a conspiracy to keep people ordering the meatball subs.

I disagree actually.

If the "sandwhich artist" behind the counter knows the drill and how to make them right---and you load them up with enough fixins and some ranch dressing---they can be scrum-diddly-ump-chous.

So, I certainly wouldn't say they "taste like ass" --- though, I can't say I've ever tasted ass before either. I've offered to perform such services on Emily once, and she not only refused....but also seemed pretty grossed out about it for minutes afterwards.

Heelarious. :) As something of a connossieur of veggie patties, though, I have to stand by my earlier statement. I think those Subway ones are nasty. I do like their veggie delite subs, though. I eat those a lot, with the Southwest sauce and lots of banana peppers and jalapeņos.

Boca Burger makes good veggie burgers.

Genuine,

Where can you find humanely raised meat? I'm thinking about becoming a vegetarian again, but my blood type (A negative) has a hard time doing the vegetarian thing without becoming anemic. I used to get sick and weak very easily (even eating the things I was supposed to.)
