I told you no one likes me.
I will leave as I arrived. I forgot how I arrived. Phooey. |
Me? = Lonely...
My sympathies go out to all your personalities. |
Cleveland's offense is horrible to watch. There is no flow. Its awful. Fortunately for them, Detroit has been just as bad (lazy). Pistons take the next two despite baby sheed. This has been a really bad series. Lebron is gaining confidence but there are only so many fallaway from 16 feet, end up 28 feet from the basket, a guy can make.
Utah next game will be a real test for Sloan's leadership. He is very good at bringing seemingly lost teams back. They have the type of play and the players to match the Spurs. Does the team believe this. This will be an interesting game. Utah has no success against the Spurs on the road. There really are no excuses for this. Spurs win 4-1. But will Utah battle or lay down? Kirilenko has been a real dissappointment in these playoffs. A very fragile player mentally. His shot is absolutely gone. All he can do is block shots and dunk. Has Sloan ruined this guy, has his bad hair played a major role, what is tha deal? Having only two offensive threats has really hurt Utah. Okur was a major problem for the Spurs regular season. |
anyone notce teh McDyess of old, it was funny when they said whoa thats the Denver Mcdyess. He was on superstardom's doorstep then got hurt

If the Cavs had a coach they would be waiting to see who to play in the finals. The coaching job for Cleveland is pathetic. The drawn up play calls at the end of the halfs are brutal, the adjustments they make at halftime are non existant. Everyone keeps saying "Cleveland is flat in the third quarter, Cleveland has struggled in the third" They havent struggled, the coaches havent made the adjustments they need to at the half to ensure a win. They get up by 12, and they dont knock the Pistons out. They should have closed out both games in Detroit too, they are younger, faster, more talented, the coaching is terrible. If Flip Saunders wasnt the second worst coach in the NBA the Cavs would be in trouble.

Things happen with human beings. These are not robots playing. They will at times miss. LeBron missed a wide open layup in the 3rd quarter. So the logic behind that missed layup is because Brown made poor adjustments at halftime?? Billups made a contested jumper to open the 3rd quarter with someone right in his face. So the reason he made that shot was because Brown didn't coach properly at halftime?? So the reason LeBron made 2 foul shots at the end of the game is because Brown made proper adjustments in the 4th quarter??? So your basic argument is that Brown is a tremendous "in-game" coach, because they always play better in the 4th quarter this series than the 3rd. Or something like that. |

The problem is that their scorer, is also really their only playmaker...set up man..."James". Snow is the only "true" point guard on that team and he is too old and simply doesn't see the floor like James does...this forces them to use James as not only "scorer" but also "playmaker". So I think when offensive stagnation occurs is when LeBron is handling point duties which often happens...but good things also come from this strategy...ie the 4th quarters of the last two games. I think saying they rely totally on athletic is over-simplifying it tremendously. LeBron is perhaps one of the most gifted athletes ever...but after him I really don't think their athleticism is anything but pretty typical for the positions they play. And in some cases less than normal....(Snow, Ilgauskas). Brown is a defense first coach I agree with and that is his emphasis...but I think the lack of a point guard forces James to be sort of a grab-bag type player...someone forced to play point more than he probably should. And that at times bogs down their offense. |

Bizarre. Have my conditions been met? If not I have some new ones. |
I haven't got all day Hossy.
You are making me read these pathetic NBA coaches analysis posts. And I found my paint set so time is ticking. |
No you buffoon, what Im saying is Brown is a terrible coach because they come out from every halftime firing up playground shots. He makes no adjustments on Defense and its almost cost them both games in Cleveland. They dont come out with a plan in the third quarter, they are put back on their heels before raw talent puts them back in front. If you think Eric Snow should be in at the end of the game shooting freethrows youre out of your mind.
Oh, and Flip Saunders and Brown are both terrible coaches, both front offices have done a great job with everything except hiring coaches. Which is why both the Cavs or Pistons will get drilled by the well coached Spurs. |
