The NBA absolutely hates the Spurs being in the Championship. TV revenues plummet. Believing there is some ulterior motive for keeping the Spurs in is stupidity.

Scuds you do not become the winningest modern sports frachise by being stupid. Just because a team does not come from the West or East coast you have to hate them. Who is your NBA team Scuds...? I dont think you have one, you just find it easy to hate. Just like your phobia of white southern towns that hate. Ironic.

Reminds me of Repent professing Smarty Jones was nothing but lucky.

Well, the evidence is unavoidable. No amount of WORDSMITHING can change the evidence on those links. That guy kicked him in the Achilles. If you can't see this from 1:08-1:11 on that clip I put up,then we don't have much to talk about.People in denial are difficult to get through to. Just how long are Spurs fans gunna deny this trash is a dirty player? You look silly doing it.Documentation abounds.

So you think Bowen picked out Stoudamire's achilles and went for that spot, on purpose? He knowingly picked out the achilles and kicked at the Achilles... right. No way. Its way to hard to react that fast. This is the same guy that accused Ginobili of kicking him in the gonads (which btw is much easier when you are in the air trying to make space and the other player is stationary on the floor trying to draw a charge). Yet there is a perfect picture of Steve Nash doing the exact same thing to Kobe. They show Nash's foot directly on Kobe's groin.
Amare is a whiner, young and stupid. So this kind of stuff only goes on with the Spurs. Raja Bell and Steve Nash had never had repeated incidents of this kind. Right.

And Scuds you of course are the only one who has seen 1:08 through 1:11 so you know from the picture intent to go for the achilles. You know Bowen was going for the Achilles. And the Phoenix people themselves say it is very doubtful he could accurately hit that spot with a player in motion. Great.
I dont like Bowen getting under people on jump shots, I will say that. And you also have to realize Bowen is not the only player that does this. What Bowen does is talk trash and get under jump shooters. He is a master at taking people out of their game. And it is totally to play head games. Bell is great at flopping, sticking the elbow on the pick, grabbing, tripping, he is Bowen with too much emotion. Unable to talk good trash like Bowen, because Bowen does not believe a thing he is saying.

I know this piece of trash kicked him.I am sure he didn't care where he hit him(as long as it hurt.)Why you gotta keep saying he didn't have time to do it? He did it.He intentionally kicked him.

So your theory on why David Stern and the NBA reviewed the tapes and gave Bowen a warning which he has received before? Just as Nash has, and Raja Bell. Kobe hit Ginobili with an elbow and got suspended. Ginobili said there was no intent by Kobe to hurt him. Stern ruled it an unnatural move while shooting. So your theory of why Stern and the NBA protects the Spurs please... I await the response. Especially since the NBA will make lots more money if Phoenix makes the NBA finals.

Well, the Spurs are in the playoffs every year, and people know all the players very well.Probably better than they do any other team's players.Almost always have tight games that people like to watch. In other words,Stern can guarantee a good product to watch. It isn't always about ratings.Just like some artists make art(even though they aren't that popular.)Some people like them.Whether something is a good product or not is not always a commercial question. So,it is very possible that Stern thinks the Spurs being in the final rounds is the best product he can put out.Maybe he likes the way they play, and think he wants the league to be portrayed this way in China or wherever he is concerned about.I know the league is helping this team in a huge way.Anybody watching game 6 could see Bowen hacking the arm of
Nash all night long. They simply ignore this scum's fouling like this. It's a huge difference(when they let him hack arm like that.)So don't even f'n tell me that they aren't giving Spurs breaks.Bowen shouldn't be in the playoffs. All the stuff this dirty trash has done before, and then he kicks Stoudemire, and Stern just blows it off. Then they won't call fouls on Bowen hacking Nash all night long in game 6.Zero doubt in my mind that the NBA WANTS THE SPURS TO GO TO THE FINALS......PRETTY OBVIOUS.

BTW....San Antonio is the Texas version of Fresno.

Hilarious. Nash uses his off arm constantly. Bowen has already commented on how he well he does this. The NBA protects the superstar Bowen... God Lord you are out of sorts. Your hatred is perplexing. If anything I would think you would hate D'Antoni with the constant whining. Or maybe you whine with him.

Stern has already commented on the Market. He said the Lakers v. the Lakers in 1999. The RATINGS go down Scuds when the Spurs are in the finals. Its simple TV market. The Utah v. Spurs series is a nightmare for the NBA if ratings rule the day. The NBA advertises flash and specific players. The Spurs have neither. You wont see many Duncan Jerseys outside San Antonio when the NBA markets dunking skills and personalities.

And your Fresno comment goes right over my head. I know nothing about Fresno. But I guess I can assume its full of little brown people that scare you.
Or maybe some South Carolina city full of Confederate flags, the paranoia and hatred runs deep so you got me confused.

s/a being the birthplace of tex mex is certainly no fresno.........the spurs are simply the better PLAYOFF basketball team than the suns. so are the jazz, boozer is a huge force and they should not be taken lightly.

As I said in the beginning of the playoffs. The Spurs where happy to be on the side with Denver, LA, and Phoenix. We badly wanted to avoid Dallas, HOuston, and Utah.

Utah's PG Derron Williams is much stronger than Parker. Because of the size of the other players Parker will have to guard him, not Bowen. This presents the first problem. The second and third are Okur and Boozer. We have no one other than Duncan that can cover these guys and because Okur goes to the perimeter. Duncan will cover Boozer imo.

The good thing for the Spurs is that Utah also does not have a player that can bother Duncan ala Rasheed Wallace. Boozer is not long enough and Okur is too slow.

BTW. The San Antonio/Phoenix series was by far the best of any so far. That was very good basketball by both teams. Phoenix is on the cusp of making it to the finals. The Spurs MUST make some significant off season moves, even if they win the whole thing. Cant be the fat cat sitting back, always got to make your team better. I think this is more likely to happen if they lose, so ambivalent feelings about the outcome of this years playoffs exist in this fan's head.
