Very good point. I wouldn't be surprised if they don't run him in the Preakness. The consortium thing isn't the smoothest. Particularly when the consortium is made up of big shots.

Maybe they could send him back to Helen Pitts and we could see what Bejarano will do with Curlin. The Preakness might be his best shot.

Street Sense looks to be better on paper for the Belmont than Curlin -- pedigree is loaded with distance. Like to see him on the turf someday also.

the Preakness is a big race. If the horse is ok, they are going.

Comically some can blame Robbie, but that does not make them right, nor Robbie wrong. He is a marvelous talent on a horse. Most everyone knew Curlin would take dirt for the first time and have nowhere to run, and with his other liabilities finishing third was outstanding. He cost me a pretty big score with his talent and courage, but is not in the same class as Street Sense, just the same age. The champ will never try turf. BBB
