Not a good way to compare. Oklahoma ST. completely gave up on their coach the last few games of the conference, and even though they got a big win against ATM (on cruise control, coach did not care about seed) in the Big 12 tourney, they were playing the tourney on their home floor. OK. ST. was absolutely horrible the last 10 or so games. They played as poorly as any team with talent as I have seen.

On the other hand if Niagra can play some D... Kansas is a great team against teams that want to run and play athletic with them. Hope Niagra plays the slow down game. Only team more athletic and as deep as Kansas is North Carolina. But I think Kansas plays out of control. Kansas was beaten by poised teams in conf. ATM and Texas Tech.

btw... been gone so sorry if this has already been discussed: I have not flippin idea how Texas Tech made the tourney. If you had to take another team from the Big 12 (which I would not have) it would have been Kansas St.

Holy cow...11 minutes to go in the 1st half and MARQUETTE still has not scored.

I called this one on Steve's show once I heard that MU's guard was not playing because of the thumb injury.

I didn't think they'd get smacked like this though:eek:

I'd better call Villanova and see if NARDI is going to play!

Wow, I continue to amaze myself. I couldn't have been more wrong if I tried. This is why I love college basketball though. Everytime you are sure of something it completely blows up in your face.

but I want revenge when it counts. I was really hoping they would lose so I could see every person that walked in the store tomorrow with their bottom lips dragging on the ground...

How did the announcer call Tubby brilliant for having the backup accidentally put in the starting lineup immediately foul after the jump ball? Is his player that terrible that you can't even sit back in a zone and try and stop the first possession before you get to make the substitution? That team foul could wind up way more costly than the difference in the expected points Nova would have got on the first possession with the different players in.
