When Oxley pays $750000 for a yearling people put the horse on the radar.

Paul and I got along for a long time, but I've just gotten tired of the "everyone vs. him" mentality that he seems to have. People wouldnt mind the guy if he listened more and commented less, but he just refuses to listen. Soooo many people tried to explain to him that it's impossible to compare times from Oaklawn and Churchill Downs, but he refused to listen. The comment about Ghostzapper being doped for his races really irriitated me and then the thread about manners was a riot considering as much rudeness spews from his posts as it does anyone elses.

As for the Bengals, best of luck to you guys. I'm actually a fan of Chad Johnson as well as Rudi Johnson and David Pollack. As for December 31, the Steelers will have the division long wrapped up by then ;) . Actually should be a hell of a game. I dont know about the Benals but the Steelers have a bitch of a schedule this year and I think 9-10 wins may be as many as they can win.

They all have pretty much the same schedule, don't they, I thought they did those "mirror games" that the rest of the division played as well. Bengals D should be solid this year, they got Dexter Jackson at Safety, Madieu will be back, and also picked up Sam Adams as a stopper up the middle. I think they win the Division this year, as long as no major injuries, which can happen at any time.

Yeah both theams have tough ass schedules. AFC West and NFC South. KC, SD, Atl, Den, Car, TB. You guys go to Indy which really sucks and you've got New England. Actually the Bengals have it tougher than the Steelers do drawing Indy & NE while the Steelers play Miami and Jacksonville in those two games that are not affiliated with any particular division and I guess are more "random" to fill the final two spots on the schedule after the in-division games and mirror games are scheduled. Just whatever you do, dont let your QB ride a motorcycle minus a helmet and hope your first round draft pick doesnt get arrested twice before he's ever worn the teams uniform in a game. Hell of a summer

I didn't want to talk politics but since others brought it up....
It DOES matter if you vote and here is why: Demographic Tracking. Both parties do it to a large degree and use it to shape their message and their legislative agenda. Old people (especially old white women) vote in much larger numbers than other demographic groups, and since both parties keep track of this info, partisan policy is geared disproportionally towards issues that matter to that demographic. If people in other demographic groups don't vote because they think it does not matter, their actions become self-fulfilling prophecies: what they think will NOT matter because both parties will feel secure in ignoring the concerns of that demographic.
Now that being said......I still like Minister's Bid over Forest Phantom and/or Flashy Bull.

Thats exactly the way us normal people feel in California, with the wackos from L.A. and San Francisco deciding the state, every other county votes the right way!!!!

Cajungator26 06-22-2006 12:06 PM

I'll take Forest Phantom over Minister's Bid.
