Oh well, they're 7-5 on their two trips to the left coast. I'm just getting greedy now. I'm to th point when I'm completely shocked now when the bullpen doesn't get it done even when it's flukey infield hits like today.

clyde 05-08-2011 07:03 PM

So true....soon, even the Yankee fans reading this will get on the band wagon and join the fun in being a fan of AMERICA'S TEAM.

horseofcourse 05-10-2011 06:52 PM

It rains in Cleveland?? Who knew!!

clyde 05-11-2011 09:41 AM

Funny stuff..but it's really only degraded lake snow.

horseofcourse 05-11-2011 10:55 AM

No type of weather can derail America's team. Carrasco off the DL tonight. You're right on about Bantley. Guy's approach is tremendous.

clyde 05-11-2011 12:02 PM

Thank you so much.

It's almost going too well;perhaps it's destiny.

You wait....Dahla and PeanutShell will be jumping on his bandwagon before September.

clyde 05-11-2011 12:06 PM

PeanutShell may not see this right off as he is out "training" horseys.

What does he train them to do??

horseofcourse 05-12-2011 10:19 AM

So a great starting pitcher can fluke out and beat America's team at home. Crap. Lost on April 2nd, then again on May 11th. So we go 40 days and 40 nights or thereabouts between home losses. That's ok.

dalakhani 05-12-2011 08:50 PM

I think the Indians might be remembering that they play in Cleveland

Your really need to look at the season stat lines of the starting pitchers in the games they lost the last week and a half. It's bascially half of the AL all star team staff....Cahill, Price, Shields, Haren...they did beat Weaver in this stretch too. They've gone 4-5 facing the 1-2-3 AL team ERA leaders their last 3 series. (clev is 4th). No problem with America's team at all.

horseofcourse 05-13-2011 07:21 PM

Exhausto 1 hitter and 64 pitches through 6. Some clown hitting .111 with 2 major league hits broke up the no-no with a solo homer. Jerk.

horseofcourse 05-13-2011 07:32 PM

Uh-ohhh. Complete Exhausto cave in completed. You're still not right dala!!

horseofcourse 05-13-2011 08:39 PM

All is well again. 3 runs in bottom of 9th with a 2 out two run homer by his Pronkness!!! The long and disastrous 2 game losing streak is over!

Brandon League's last 4 games as closer....0-4, 3 blown saves, 3 innings pitched, 12 hits, 10 earned runs. You go, go, go Atomic Wedgie...keep the faith. That has to be the worst 4 game stretch ever by a closer. To be fair there was alledgedly some shady left field defense leading to his effort tonight, but still.

I can't even remember Hafner's last walk off. Maybe he's back on the juice.

horseofcourse 05-13-2011 09:02 PM

America's home run...

clyde 05-15-2011 02:07 PM

!

Fine work,HC.....and good to see you don't take any bull phooey from Dahla.

Looks like there may be another AMERICA'S RAINOUT.

LLLLLLOVED your "AMERICA'S HOME RUN"...by the way.

clyde 05-15-2011 09:31 PM

Would like to be among the first to congratulate CUBA's TEAM, the Miami New Meat,on a stellar opeing game performance of the EC finals.

Say, speaking of stellar performances.......I-Bron really was there.

The question being, where is ....''there"?

horseofcourse 05-16-2011 09:09 PM

It's the return of Buck Buck game tonight clyde. Grady back on DL. I guess their eyesight is good tonight. 17 runs, 15 hits, and 8 walks through 5 innings. The gentle Cleveland rain has rejuvinated them.

clyde 05-16-2011 09:16 PM

This is a real nail filer,HC.

horseofcourse 05-16-2011 10:16 PM

Couldn't quite make it to 20. The CC Sabathia trade goes 6 for 8 with 8 rbi's.

clyde 05-16-2011 10:21 PM

Good stuff.

Boy..this game was in question right through the top of the fourth

Heart be still.

clyde 05-17-2011 10:15 PM

AMERICA'S TEAM wins again...the Cavaliers pick 1 and 4.

Gosh ...this is so much fun!

horseofcourse 05-17-2011 11:42 PM

Their number 1 was actually the Clippers pick so they traded Mini Mo and moon for Baron Davis and the number 1 pick in the draft. I'd call that a straight theft.

Pretty decent game for Carrasco. Bullpen walked 5 guys...that is ugly, but only 1 scored, so that's good! America's DH has 8 rbi in his last 3 games. Chew and Santana both over .230 now. It's coming.

clyde 05-18-2011 11:23 AM

Soon, Cleveland will be AMERICA'S CITY.

I agree, if not for the scenery then certainly for the smell.

clyde 05-18-2011 01:01 PM

Dahla ...pookins-----you may soon become an endangered species.

dalakhani 05-18-2011 01:03 PM

This thread needs a villain. Its not fun watching you and coursehorse smack each other on the butt all day.

I will be that villain Clyde!

clyde 05-18-2011 01:09 PM

spit!!

rolling and laughing!

bury me baby!!!!

This thread is about Jack Hannahan taking his talents to the north coast, that was a more important free agent signing than another more famous one. Very important for a starting staff with 3 extreme ground pitchers to acquire a Brooks Robinson-esque defensive 3rd baseman. You do not get insights like this anywhere else on the planet. The guy is seriously that good defensively. One of the most important questions in sports today is can he hit .240, which is all they need?? What do you have to say about that dala?

clyde 05-18-2011 03:29 PM

+This thread is about Jack Hannahan taking his talents to the north coast

HIGHLY AMUSING!!

Let's make Dahla AMERICA'S TEAM'S primary squeeze.

clyde 05-18-2011 08:35 PM

Dahler.....I keep checking the Indians game update on evpn ---it blows.

Say something dirty.

horseofcourse 05-18-2011 09:14 PM

That was an efficient loss. 1-0 in under 2 hours I think. Peavy handled their B team easily. Marson, Duncan and Buck Buck all got multiple at bats. That's not good for anyone. They can't survive for long with Sizemore out and America's DH was limping around the bases last night. He sat tonight. If they had played Urns too it would have been really special. Bat was certainly well back on his A game tonight after his one clunker so even in losses good things happen with AMerica's team.

clyde 05-18-2011 09:25 PM

Thanks for the amusing pep talk ,HC...I needed it.

I really hate losing.

And Dahla doesn't like dupa low fiving so I'm sure she'll have her snotty commenty.

Think we can get Honula in here? She's ssssssssssssssso hot!!

clyde 05-19-2011 07:54 PM

Oh my God.

horseofcourse 05-19-2011 07:54 PM

Exhausto just needs to quit against the White Sox. His ERA is close to 150 against them and 2 against the rest of baseball. A total repeat of his opening day performance. 6 runs and the 2nd just started. It's quite a tragedy once again.

clyde 05-19-2011 07:57 PM

!!

He doesn't even get a chance to get tired against these guys.

clyde 05-19-2011 08:00 PM

Thank our luckies Dahla is busy baiting Peanut Shell.

horseofcourse 05-19-2011 08:00 PM

Urns, Everett and Duncan all playing at the same time. They need Grady and/or Hafner to play. Being Cleveland you have to assume the worst with both of them.

clyde 05-19-2011 08:02 PM

Stop saying "Urns!!"

f,r&l-a!!

I think both died and they are holding back upon notification of relatives.

clyde 05-19-2011 08:03 PM

We just went down on 7 pitches!!

7!!

horseofcourse 05-19-2011 08:07 PM

Proof it's American's team. Orlando Cabrera missing game to become US citizen. Everett playing. Germano designated for assignment....the great Valbuena brought up.
