- It was the first time the Derby winner skipped the Belmont since 1970; and
- Largest field for the Belmont was 14 in 1875

I think I'm going to favor the early speed types, even with a large field.

Grabbing disease is everywhere. Even if it isn't, Oxbow is a tough horse and the pace will not be as fast as the Derby.

Any love for Revolutionary yet going 12 furlongs ? Big fields = big payouts
