First epic fail by Manny Acta tonight. runs through pestano, sipp and c perez for 4 shutout innings then in the 12th goes to Durbin before R Perez?? Are you freaking kidding me? Perez hadn't pitched since Sunday and has tommorrow off, and he goes to Durbin first. That is not a sane individual. I'm hoping maybe the guy was in a hospital to justify that craziness.

clyde 04-13-2011 10:01 PM

He must be destroyed!!

Now I hate him.

clyde 04-13-2011 10:05 PM

Cavaliers win yet again!!

The nba is lucky the season doesn't go another month.

horseofcourse 04-14-2011 08:15 AM

Lots of teams are thankful the Cavs didn't qualify for the playoffs. I have a cell phone, and I gave the number to the Tribe front office. For some reason, I don't think they gave the number to Manny. I'm always available for in game decisions.

The Bid 04-14-2011 08:39 AM

The pitchout acta called last night was pretty bad.

I thought it was overall pretty meaningless in the grand scheme but for a guy with control issues to just add another ball was bad yeah. To go to Durbin before R Perez was just silly and I think the bigger mistake. Guy had two days off and an off day today. Could have very easily gone 2 innings if necessary as Sipp did and C Perez went more than 1 too. You go to Durbin, Herrman, and Germano when you run out of innings for the 4 good relief pitchers in that game.

clyde 04-14-2011 05:31 PM

The very recent 8 game winning streak has numbed his mind.I did pop the game on the radio in that 10th and even the announcers were dizzy over bringing Perez into the game when Acta made the call. The pitchout wasn't very pleasant either.

At least there are no steroid worries on the team.

horseofcourse 04-15-2011 08:31 AM

The only thing that matters in this world is the Red Sox getting it turned around. That's the big issue by a long shot. An Indian loss in April doesn't compare to a Red Sock loss.

clyde 04-15-2011 05:04 PM

Don't make that mistake...the Indians are America's Team.

Scav 04-15-2011 05:20 PM

clyde 04-15-2011 05:33 PM

I got nowhere fast.

That's like readinig NoAdvantage.

clyde 04-15-2011 08:01 PM

America's Team is pounding the filthy birdies from Baltimore firmly into the ground and submission.

Baltimore really sucks.

clyde 04-15-2011 08:36 PM

The Orioles are New Jersey's Team.

clyde 04-15-2011 10:31 PM

And of course, the Red Sox are known as Dahla's Team.

horseofcourse 04-16-2011 09:42 AM

Can't argue with the starting pitching at all this year. They've all been good since game 1 this year.

clyde 04-16-2011 10:32 AM

Partly why they are America'sTeam.

With players like DH Hafner,Bat Masterson,Exhausto Carmona ,Carlos Santana and Sen Sen Chew...that's another partly why.

horseofcourse 04-16-2011 11:39 PM

sen sen chew went deep today, and yet another stellar start by Tomlin. Their random left fielder even went 3 for 4 today. think it was buck buck. I think buck buck was a bill cosby comedy routine.

clyde 04-17-2011 12:20 AM

More fine ( burp)work.

New America's Team fan clubs are popping up everywhere. The latest have been organized in China and and Egypt.

Locally, Boston may well become the largest America's Team fan club.

horseofcourse 04-17-2011 12:06 PM

Evidently things were going too swimmingly for the starting pitchers. Talbots to the DL already. Grady back today. Guess they'll have to bring up the French Hispanic guy, Jean Gomez to pitch for King Talbot.

clyde 04-17-2011 12:09 PM

!

Those in attendance, noticing Exhausto goes today....rang up the parking meters for 2 extra hours.

Exhausto Carmona defying clyde today. 64 pitches through 5 innings. He is extremely cold and mad it's that cold. He wants to quickly get back to the dugout heaters.

clyde 04-17-2011 01:39 PM

Oh my God.

Amazing, but whatever works.

America's Team is at it again.

horseofcourse 04-17-2011 02:37 PM

another sweep for America's team. Sets up a 4 game war with America's other team...the Royals. their 25 year rebuilding plan is finally paying off. both those teams set up to dominate MLB from 2011 through 2020. More dominance by starting pitcher, more dominance today from Sipp, C Perez.

clyde 04-17-2011 07:22 PM

!!!!!!!

Highly amusing, but make no mistake.............

..there is only one America's Team.

The INDIANS !

clyde 04-17-2011 11:14 PM

Photographs submitted by the Carl Hubbell telescope show Mars has gone America's Team.

horseofcourse 04-18-2011 08:48 AM

the anticipation of which doofus left fielder goes when they call up Jean Gomez to pitch Tuesday is killing me. buck-buck, the slothful son of Dave duncan, or urns. It's a pivotal moment for America's team. My money's on buck-buck despite closing the birdie series 4 for 7.

clyde 04-18-2011 10:49 AM

Urns!!

rolling and laughing!!

!!!!OOOOOOOOOO!!!!

horseofcourse 04-18-2011 10:18 PM

epic classic battle between the two futures of MLB. HEaded to extras. Nice bullpen work by My cousin vinny and the return of the joe smith.

horseofcourse 04-18-2011 10:44 PM

America's team at it again. Standard Operating Procedure win. Quality start by Chico. 3.2 hitless innings by the best bullpen in MLB and they didn't even use the two best on the staff. 4 runs in the 10th against the midget lefty. I'm thinking after facing AMerica's team and the best three-toed sloth hitter in baseball in Duncan...little small fry may have to go to jockey school and ride Stay Thirsty in the derby instead of having to pitch to the likes of Duncan and Hannahan again.

clyde 04-19-2011 12:42 AM

!!

One tenth of the season is done.

CBS is now projecting the Indians as the ws winner.

Soon Dahla will be on the band wagon.

I was a year tardy! our September 2010 Tribe banter was legendary.

Bonus points for Lacey Cake.

It wasn't that long ago the team looked headed for 57-105...or worse.Even next year could be very interesting.

Can't disagree with anything you said.

OOOOOOOOOO

Thank you ssssssssssssssso much!

horseofcourse 04-19-2011 03:23 PM

bye-bye buck-buck. If you read this forum I told you it was you. You had options and you bat left handed. Not a good combination for you to have. Urns and the Duncan sloth have no options and bat right. Sorry. We have an interesting outfield. All three throw left handed. One really, really well in sen sen choo who takes the most interesting paths to fly balls in history but can throw like a freak. The other two can get to fly balls really well but throw like 7 year old girls.

It all adds up to this is America's team.

clyde 04-19-2011 06:00 PM

So true......now throw in the pitcher called up to start tonight----Righty Gomez.

clyde 04-19-2011 06:21 PM

I think Manny just might get an Emmy for best acta this year.

Now watch Righty throw a perfect game.

"Urns"....I'm still laughing!

horseofcourse 04-19-2011 11:05 PM

Another epic in KC between the powers of the AL Central. America's team is for real. Down 5-0 headed to the 7th they darn near pulled it out ending the game with the bases loaded down 5-4. 14 straight games of starting pitchers giving up 3 runs or less had to end at some point and the worst of their 2nd half call ups last year did the deed, which is why he was the one in Columbus to start the year. The best bullpen in MLB with 3.2 more hitless innings tonight gave them a shot. You better have a lead after 6 against the Tribe or you lose.

(I'm not sure what to think of Santana. I thought he was a sure fire superstar and he's been pretty bad. He took 3 straight fastballs right down the middle the last AB of the game and never took a swing. Weird.)

Does that count as Cleveland Sports? (it's ugly, btw) Leaves the door open, n' everything. What you raising up there?

clyde 04-20-2011 02:00 AM

HC...the jealous will try to corrupt this baseball thread with very bad taste. Some people can't stand their cities turning to AMERICA'S TEAM.

The game last night....as usual, didn't know what happened until it was over.

I won't stand for losing...another one today and I'm off the trail. Not kidding.

Yes I am!
